We stayed at this hotel 5 nights for a conference and found it very satisfactory ( particularly since we got a great rate of $210 per night for a king room). It's not luxurious, but it's clean, nice, and has a great location for tourist activities like Broadway, shopping 5th Ave. etc. etc. I think it would be a terrific... More

Hotel location is the key. This is the largest hotel in Manhattan with 2200 rooms and as such it is run like a factory (as such see many of previous comments - large variety of room and yes most rooms are small yet very clean, appropriate but not necessarily friendly services in lobby, $3.50/bag/day storage charge, busy elevators, host to... We payed over $600 per night for an executive room and its was dreadful- tiny- not luxurious at all. The hotel itself is aimed at business people- there is nothing beautiful about it. Ok- so the location is great- just 5min walk to radio city to see the rockettes- and one block from 5th avenue- 5min walk from central park.... More

We just returned from our 3 night stay at the Hilton. We paid $750 per night which at the time did not seem that bad because we could not find another hotel and we were told we would be on the executive level which would include free breakfast and robes. We arrived at the hotel, no problems with check in... More

I am a Diamond Level of HHonors Member and a frequent traveler to NY City for business and pleasure. I simply need to state this hotel is no longer value for money except for location. I probably stayed at this hotel more than 20 times. They remodelled the rooms and after that, they have started overcharging for a small and... More

This hotel is nothing to look at from the outside, nor is the lobby particularly inspirational. (Why did the designers think low ceilings were the way to go?) However, the room itself was great. We stayed on something known as a Hilton Honors floor, 19th, non-smoking. It had been remodeled in 2004 and was roomy enough for two. (Although I... More

If you are a tourist and want to be in a tourist hotel, this Hilton suits you completely. It is big, shiny, has an expensive breakfast buffet that reminds you of every buffet you've had in every tourist hotel, and its very large lobby is brimming with people toting shopping bags and wheeling their travel bags. Once you walk into... More

I got the room through priceline and was very happy with the rate. However, I will not want to stay there unless they offer me a bargain rate again. 1)We stayed on the 6th floor, which was supposed to be a non smoking floor. However, we could smell the smoke coming from our neighbor when we woke up the next... More

There were 6 of us on this trip and have previously stayed in two other NYC hotels. The location of the Hilton was perfect, one block from 5th and very close to Rockefeller and Central Park. We had a suite on floor 43 with access to the executive lounge. The rooms were large enough for us and the breakfast was... More
