Found this Hotel to be a great location. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Overall, I really liked this hotel. The only bad things I have to say about this hotel concierge was not very helpful and line wait for registration was very long with few workers checking people in.

This morning I booked a room at the New York Hilton for three nights and received a confirmation with a stipulated price in my email. Tonight I just happened to look at my online account to see what the reservation said only to find that the same reservation had been upgraded without my knowledge and the price had been increased!!!... My uncle and I stayed at the Hilton New York Dec. 16-20...four nights in all. I cannot say enough about this hotel--from start to finish, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. When I made reservations online a couple of months ago, I requested a refrigerator in our room for medicine. When we checked... More

The location is perfection, the rooms are not. Peeling wallpaper, cruddy shower, old carpets are what greet you in the hallways and in your room - not what you should expect from a hotel with prices above $300 per night. The room termperature was never right and the elevators are so slow that the rumor on our floor was that... More

The rooms at the Hilton are really big (for New York). If you are needing to share a room, this is the place to stay, given the room size. I stayed on the Executive Floor. The lounge has great views and is a really nice place to unwind after a busy day in the City and before heading out to... More

If you like the big chains, with lots of people, lots of floors, lots of rooms, lots of events going on, then this is the place for you. Personally, I prefer the smaller, more intimate, boutique hotels, but we were participating in a tech event being held here, so it was convenient. Overall, it is a great hotel. The rooms... More

I just returned from one of several stays in the past few years at the New York Hilton, and my first stay at Christmas time. It's a typical large and busy chain hotel, but the location is very convenient for the best of the city. Radio City Music Hall is in the next block and Rockefeller Center is very close.... More

I stayed at the Hilton whilst on a recent business trip to New York, and i was not taken by this particular Hilton offering. We spend 3 days in this nice hotel. Location is great - right off Time Square, many dining options at walking distance (we didnt try the hotel's restaurant though). Right in the middle of it all. We were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to see. The rooms were regular size and housekeeping was very good. Room service came quickly also. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
