Greatest hotel that ive been in New York. Love the location, the near food places and easy acces to the subway. Its near almost everything you want to see in manhattan. The hotel is very luxurious and very calm. I would consider going again in the future.

This hotel is close enough to many of the sights new visitors to NYC want to see yet far enough away from the sensory assault to be suitable for frequent business travelers. There are a reasonable number of interesting restaurant choices nearby and old standbys like Sarabeth's and Serafina - are also close by. This is key since a latte... More

Currently staying here. It is not a bad hotel but far from a great hotel. Woke up this morning sweating. Was told that they have no air conditioning and to open the lower portion of my window to cool the room down. (I am sure that the lady meant no air off season) You can imagine the noise. Then I... We stayed for a week in the Midtown Hilton while our child was in another room with a tour group. We stayed in room 3311 (33rd floor). It had a King bed and a pullout (so our daughter could join us for a couple nights at the end of the trip). The room was spacious by NY standards, and very... More

Stayed at the Hilton midtown in March 2015. Very pleasantly surprised at the price, given the location. Decor in the hallways is a bit dated, but the rooms are fine and the lobby is on a par with what you would expect from a New York hotel. Would definitely consider staying here again on a future visit to NY.

The hotel is on the East Side and its a perfect location for any travelers. The hotel is very large and the rooms are of decent sizes for New York. Its an average hotel, the rooms are comfortable but are still very basic.

Perhaps the most important piece of any journey my family undertakes are the people we encounter. The Mid-Town Hilton has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. I would highly recommend staying with them and I plan to do so again.

The Hilton chain should re think whether this hotel is entitled to carry the brand name. Yes, it's huge and very well situated but with these old rooms, it's definitely not worth the very high price. Staff is very efficient and cordial but that's not enough. Need a major renovation fast.

Arrived slightly early but was well taken care of by the wonderful front desk staff. It's nice to be greeted and welcomed after a couple of hours on the train by a competent and hard working staff. The hotel is what it is - big, overwhelming at times, cozy at other times. The room was fine. We paid for the... More

Stayed here for 3 nights for business. I found the rooms to be on a larger size for NYC, though the amenities and room were average in terms of comfort and quality. Room was located on the 7th floor and street traffic was noticeable, but not enough to impact the quality of sleep. The noise from the hallway and adjoining... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
