I have stayed in this hotel twice and both times it has met my needs. This hotel serves it purpose of providing a place to sleep for those on business. I have never heard any traffic and the doors close very quietly. It is a little run down in spots but it is not bad overall. It is close to...

stayed in an executive room right on the top floor. Looked very old and dated with some paint peeling off the ceiling.
However the lounge was first rate and the breakfast and hors d' oeuvres were fantastic.
Location of the hotel was amazing - we walked to see Chicago in under 10 minutes and central park was only 4 blocks...

Stayed for two nights whilst attending a conference at the hotel. Clearly geared towards large conferences, even the lifts were trying to sell me litigation software... the location is perfect for getting to Central Park, the shopping around Fifth/Madison Av, Times Square and Broadway - they're all a ten minute walk away. Gym was surprisingly big and well equipped... though...

Ok, the Hilton New York is a huge hotel but it has a few very unique selling points
- You can open the window a bit
- I had a renovated room on the 33rd floor and they had a good size
- it is really close to Central Park for a run
- Very New Gym Equipment
But it...

I stayed at this location for three nights at the end of January. I arrived at LGA and took a taxi to the hotel--I believe the fare was about $35. This is a large property and there was a conference going on during my stay. The staff was welcoming upon arrival. The room was one of the largest I ever...

The NY Hilton is not, for sure, the best Hilton worldwide. For instance: the São Paulo Hilton or the Beverly Hilton are thousand miles better. However, if you stay in the Executive Club levels, where they include breakfast, you might be getting a good value for your money.Inasmuch as the lobby looks like 42nd. street on New Years Eve, and service...

We stayed here for 6 nights over New Year this year and had a good stay.
Positives - Location well placed for 5th Avenue shops, Radio City and just a few blocks to Times Square. We walked everywhere or took taxis for getting Downtown.
Room was large, modern and comfortable. Plenty room for suitcases and shopping bags!
Very good breakfast...

If you're in town for a conference, you may be forced to stay at this property. Otherwise, it should be avoided unless you get a really good deal. I stayed on the 31th floor and had to pay for a poor connection internet connection (just 1 bar, and it kept disconnecting). Technical issues are outsourced to AT&T, so no one...

Was here for a conference in January - love the location. For NYC the rooms are cavernous and extremely comfortable. Bar service nothing spectacular - waited so long in the lobby bar we just up and left. I agree with the previous comment about the charge for luggage storage - tacky. BUT the fantastic gym made up for it. I...
