Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Manhattan centre, also called "Club Quarters opposite to rockfeller center". My stay was very nice until I noticed that my grilfriend's purse was missing. This was a purse that she had bought a day before for someone else, since she has a store in back in our country especialised in purses. I told... More

This is my third stay at the Manhattan Centre Hotel and I have enjoyed all three visits! Yes, there is no denying that the location is excellent for experiencing the sights, sounds, and tastes that Manhattan has to offer. However, this should not be the sole reason for choosing this hotel. The Manhattan Centre Hotel is very clean, the employees... More

This ones hard to beat. Seriously great location in midtown, clean and good price. Drawbacks? This is New York - rooms are smallish, mini-gym insufficient, postage stamp lobby (can get hectic during mass check-in/check-out). - otherwise, for less than you'd pay at a La Quinta in Ft. Worth you're in the heart of the worlds most exciting city!

Believe I made the mistake of basically paying full price while booking through my company's corporate membership website, but this was a long-awaited pleasure trip and wanted to minimize any potential problems that might arise. Wanted a room with twin beds to ensure comfort, had even agreed to paying an upgrade charge when called to reconfirm the request. The self-service... More

Right from the get go, this was a great place. Granted the first room offered was small, on the second floor, window next to some HVAC equipment, facing the inner courtyard. Could not stand the thought of staying there for five nights, so asked Dean, the unflappable concierge, and he was gracious. Dean is an asset to that hotel, by... More

My husband and I just visited NYC for the first time and stayed at this location. Initially, we had a 2nd story room which did not have a view, but the concierge happily accommodated our request. We also found that the room was clean and free of bed bugs...we pulled apart the room to be sure and it was clean.... More

We were really pleased with our stay here and never knew about this place. We got the room on Priceline. The room was contemporary, not tiny, with a terrific bathroom. The room had great light and was very quiet. We had a view of Saint Patricks Cathedral and the hotel is perpendicular to Rockefeller Center.....great location We would stay here... More

We were in town for a graduation and were able to get a good rate at this hotel through Hotwire. The room was quite compact, but it did the trick. There was a shower, no tub, but that was okay with us. The staff was very nice. Everything is quite efficient. There is a restaurant on the 7th floor but... More

I won this hotel on Hotwire a few weeks before the trip and I'm glad we did. It's classed as a 3.5 star and I'd say that's about right. The room is fairly nicely sized for NYC but there's no wardrobe, only a pole with around 6 or so coat hangers. Thankfully some were brought along so it wasn't a... More

This hotel was in the best location in Manhatten. One block from 30 Rock, across the street from Radio City Music Hall, only a couple of blocks from Times Square one way, and one block from 5th avenue the other way. Was a wonderful stay, hotel was accomodating, had free bottled water on vaious floors - which was great. Husband... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
