Small hotel good location just steps away from Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue , ten minutes walk to Times Square or Central Park , small rooms nothing fancy , just a hotel for a short stay in Manhattan , close to a lot of pubs and restaurants

Our room was on the 3rd floor. The heater had two setings: air conditioning or full blown heat after the 2nd night. Check in was very lengthy. The smokers from Johnny Utahs next door were load as was the crowds lining up for the shows at Radio City. The elevators were slow. The staff was very nice though. Convenience is... More

This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting the city. Rooms are small, kind of in need of some updating, but a great value. Restaurant has good food and decent service. Breakfast buffet is very nice.

After a day of driving we arrived at what could only vaguely be described as a hotel. No parking was available in front of the building for checking in so we wound up double parking on the street which of course only pisses everyone off. When you walk in theres a stand with two people behind it which turned out... More

Other than the location, which is fabulous, I see no reason to stay in this hotel. The room was dingy and needed updating. The restaurant and lounge area are comfortable enough but food is horrible and service worse.

This is a great location. Walking distance to Broadway and other attractions. The rooms are small, but well designed so you don 't feel cramped. You just can't beat the location and the price is reasonable for NYC.

My husband and I had a one night stay as part of a bus trip. The location is ideal as the hotel is right across from Radio City and Rockefeller Center. The rooms are decent sized for NYC. However, the bathroom door didn't close which was uncomfortable, we had to ask several times for towels, there is only one elevator... More

Very good stay. Rooms are small and with two people it can be very tight. Little space to hang up clothing that should be put on a hanger. Bed linens and towels were good quality. Ventilation was excellent. An overall positive experience. My one problem with this hotel (and The Jewell) is that the bathroom doors are opaque glass. When... More

The hotel was very good with friendly and efficient staff, a warm room and it was pretty big for NYC ( in that the door didn't touch the bed when opened); only issue was that the TV didn't work and there was not enough milk for my coffee in the room. Good value for money at this time of year.... More

Be prepared for really down to earth no frills experience in the best location in NYC. The sheets are rough, rooms small, there are smokers from the resteraunt next door always smoking outside the door , but you can overcome all that and enjoy staying right next yo Rafio City music hall !

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
