No room service. No kettle in the rooms & also nowhere to buy a hot drink either !! Wifi $15 a day!!! Only free in the lounge. No mini bar in rooms. Alarm went off by itself without us setting it for our final day of checkout at 8am!! They charge $1 per case when you leave it in there... More

If you are in town for business and want a practical hotel in Manhatthan this is a really good spot. Rooms are a tad bit small, but comes with a fridge (not stocked), a microwave and basic amenities. The hotel resturant is really nice and staff extremely friendly (you may even hear one of a them sing a tune or... More

We stayed in Hilton garden Inn in October last year. We like this hotel so much that we already made a booking for our next trip. Reception staff and all other members are great (special thanks to Mo!), location is perfect for visiting Manhattan, hotel very clean, modern.

Next time I visit New York I will definently stay at this hotel again. I paid 140 bucks/night for a room with cityview. Totally worth it. Not the biggest room but it filled all my requirements. Excellent Wifi. There is a metro station half a block away. There is a coffe machine in the room and small refigerator. Bed comfortable.... More

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff make this an excellent choice in Midtown. Our room on the 14th floor was unbelievably quiet for a New York hotel. The breakfast is excellent. Rooms are clean and well furnished, if a bit small. I would happily stay here again. My only complaint is the absence of closet space. There is a very small... More

A great stay here with amazing and helpful staff, elevators are fast and room are clean and comfortable, very good mattresses on the king beds as well. Covers for the beds are appropriate for an air conditioned room. Lobby and cleaning staff were also a+

This was the second time we've stayed at this hotel. On both occasions, we found it be be clean, reasonably priced, quiet, and in an excellent location for visiting all points of the city. We arrived late on a Friday evening and were promptly checked in. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful and got us to our... More

Stayed here for one night last weekend. Location in Midtown East only a block away from the subway. I find the prices in this area are more reasonable as it's not the most hopping part of the City but you usually get better rates because of that fact. All the staff were great and were cheerful to deal with. The... More

I liked the smaller size of this Hotel. The hotel is clean and well kept. The rooms are updated and have comfortable beds. The hotel is in a good location with nearby access to the subway and attractions. The surrounding neighborhood is pleasant and attractive .

We stayed in this hotel during the 2nd worst snow storm in New York's history. During what could have been an absolute disaster, the staff offered a five star service, but with a friendliness that sets it apart from the often servile and sterile atmosphere of supposedly higher class establishments.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
