I found the staff to be friendly and helpful during our entire 3 day stay. They offer a descent free breakfast, standard Holiday Inn Express menu. The place seemed clean with plenty of hot water for a shower at the end of a busy day. I did like the location and the price was cheaper than others in the area.... More

My husband and I stayed here for a getaway weekend in February, and it was fantastic. We got to the city early, and had no trouble getting to the hotel and checking our bags. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect. Right at Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and the Broadway theaters. We did all kinds of fun stuff, and... More

This Holiday Inn Express did not disappoint. The front desk staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean, 2 full size comfy pillows and ready upon arrival. We upgraded to a junior suite which had a sitting area but others in our group felt their standard rooms were on the smaller side in comparison to other NYC hotels.... More

This was a return visit, and we left unsure that we would return for another. Located right off 5th Ave., the hotel is close to theatres, shopping, etc. We slept well, we showered well, but our king room was crazy small and uncomfortable -- very difficult for 2 people even to move around at the same time, and we're not... A very comfortable but basic hotel right in the heart of Manhattan. The room was quite small but clean and comfy - bed good - pillows really good. Coffee and tea making facility in room but in lobby free tea and coffee 24 hours. It met all of our requirements - an excellent base for our first visit to New... More

This HI Express is ok if you're just looking for a bed. If you are at all picky about your hotels I would skip this one. Rooms are small....but that's expected. The one good thing about the place is that I did get a double...which is not the easiest thing to find in NYC. The free breakfast is a nightmare... More

This hotel is located at 45th Street, just around the corner from 5th avenue. Great Location for a holiday in New York. We was 2 adult and one teenager in a room with two double beds, room 903. As I see in many other reviews many complains for small rooms, our room was small but ok. ( we was only... More

Pros: Great location. Clean. Professional staff (even when dealing with my complaints) Cons: Small rooms, unacceptable mattresses on beds, breakfast area is located immediately inside of front entrance doors. Intermittent (at best) Wifi. There were three of us (my mother, me and my 17 year old daughter). I booked here because I am a Priority Club member, and I have... More

The location of this hotel is great. Close to attarcations, Metro, shops etc. It is conveinent to walk down to near by Metro, 32nd street, Times square and all other important tourist places. The price of the hotel is reasonable and they provide a concession based car parking facility

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
