Great hotel - friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice shower, delicious breakfast, and an excellent location. If you want a clean hotel that's conveniently located to a lot of NYC's attractions, this is the place to stay. Walking distance to Times Square, Empire State Building, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Grand Central Station and more. I highly... More

The location of this hotel is great. Ten minutes to walk to Times Square, Five minutes to Grand Central Station and Rockerfeller Center, Twenty minutes to Central Park and The Empire state Building. The rooms are adequate in size, everything you need to stay comfortably. Breakfast buffet is decent. I would surely stay here again my next time in town.

We arrived late due to flight delay but staff were very accommodating. Fast friendly check in. Room on 19th floor so very quiet. Rooms are small (slightly smaller than average premier inn). Flat screen TV, bath, shower and coffee making facilities. Free inclusive breakfast and 24hr coffee available. Breakfast area small and cramped but hot food available on a self... More

The hotel is fantastic for shopping on 5th Avenue and Broadway. The hotel is basic, but if your just looking for a base to tour around its ideal. The room is clean, comfortable. The hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant but its not an issue as everything you need is close at hand.

Although smaller than their rooms in the UK, we couldn't fault the cleanliness of the rooms and friendly staff. For those on a budget being able to have breakfast would be a godsend. Great location for visiting lots of areas without the need for a cab or subway ride. We got a room at the back of the building as... More

Stayed here for location to work and the room rate. Was very pleased. The room was updated and clean. It was a small room, but that is expected in NYC. The small number of rooms on each floor also made it very quiet.

I chose the Holiday Inn Express as a base for a quick 24 hour visit to New York City to attend the theater. The hotel is very conveniently located on 45th Street (don't be fooled by the "Fifth Ave" description...if you take a taxi to 45th and 5th you will have to search a bit for the hotel...it is on... Absolutely LOVED our stay. It was a Mother/Daughter getaway and the hotel was a perfect location! Soooo close to Times Square, the Theatre District, Central Park, etc. Kelly, in particular, was our favorite! Thank you so much Kelly for making our first trip to the Big Apple a memorable one. All your recommendations were awesome and we appreciated the time... More

When I took my choir to New York City, we stayed in this hotel. The rooms were clean, though somewhat small. I stayed in an accessible room, and it was very comfortable. Maneuvering the halls in a wheelchair was tight, but possible. With only six rooms on a floor, my room was quiet.
