Arrived at 2.45 pm after long haul flight , and as check in was not till 3 pm we had to wait even though room was obviously available! Staff on desk were ok . Room small but adequate for short stay of 5 nights ,cleaned well every day and drinks and toiletries replenished. Free coffee in reception was a great... More

I stayed in this facility for one week and enjoyed every moment of my stay. The rooms were well maintained and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Everything seems to be working including series of noise that is typical of New York City. The hotel breakfast policy was liberal, though restricting their sausages to only swine sausage but surprisingly... More

We spent 3 days and had 3 failures TV and WC and air condition "very nice repair man but it is painful to support this So if you do not have another place to stay, you definitely must ask for room above the 15th floor Rooms are very small (its usual in NY)

We picked this hotel based on convenience to Grand Central. It is a narrow building tucked in between others. Easy to miss. But it seems new. Great value. But the stag is soooo helpful and accommodating. 👍🏻 thumbs up to the general manger, Lewiston Murray, for creating a great team at this hotel. Would stay here again.

We got stuck at LGA very late on a rainy night. I was unable to find anything that seemed suitable for under $400 close to the airport. This was a really nice find for 2 weary travelers. We only stayed one night. The room was tiny, but met our needs. Clean but the carpeting was old (truly should be replaced).... More

We stayed here for 9 nights, friendly staff, nice room, good housekeeping, free tea and coffee all day and free breakfast every morning, close to Metro stations and all popular tourist attractions, wouldn't stay anywhere else if we went back to New York was a fantastic base to explore NYC.

I was there on a business trip and WIFI was important. I struggled for two nights. Front desk personal were nice saying that they would have the system reset but there was no improvement. Breaks in the morning is a tight squeeze as the lobby area where breakfast is provided is very small.

This is a perfectly located hotel with easy access to the major NYC landmarks. It is a small property but is great for a tourist visit and even business, as was my case. The lifts are inadequate though and at peak times it can be a wait especially if you are the higher, albeit quieter, floors and the stairs are... More

We stayed for the memorial day weekend. We were greeted by the staff upon arrival. Since we arrived around the AM, the hotel offered to store our bags until checking at 3pm. The location is great. Within walking distance of major landmarks, and high end stores. Rockefeller Center is like next to it and time square is just a few... More

This hotel is just a few blocks from Broadway Shows , Times Square, Empire State Building , Top of the Rock, Madison Square Garden, Macy's , and many great restaurants. Easy subway rides to Yankee Stadium, Citi Field, and The Statue of Liberty cruises. They have a free breakfast that is very busy , but they are staffed well to... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
