I've been to Broadway rooms before and LOVED everything about it. Right price, perfect location, friendly staff. This time, there were 2 guys that worked the morning shifts and they were both horrible. They both acted like the people staying there were a HUGE inconvienience to them. It's such a shame because everyone else that works there is so wonderful,... More

Spent 10 days there. Excellent location between Central Park and Time Square. I was in a kind of apartment separated from their main building. It means no Wifi and cleaning is really not their thing specially the bathroom. Hairs people where staying the whole week!! really dusty and I even got "pest" eating some biscuit left in my backpack. I'm still itching from the horrible stained bed sheets - I couldn't sleep for 4 nights. The bed was rock hard. The pillows stank, all poor quality and dirty linens. By far the worst experience I've ever had with accommodations. We ended up paying WAY TOO MUCH. The lack of care by the management was shocking.

You won't find another cheap Hotel or Hostel with such a great Location!! Times Square is just a 10 minutes walk away, and the next Subway station (Columbus Circle) is pretty close. The Staff is awesome, they are so helpful and really know what to do and where to find things in New York! The Building is quite old, but... More

After being unable to extend my stay in a more expensive studio aprtment in W28th Street, I stayed at Broadway Rooms for 2 nights in a private room during November 2011. Only paid $100 per night and 55th Street location was good. While the rooms are quite old, this is covered up by the Boadway show themed artwork. Found the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
