This is the best bang for the buck hotel in NYC. It has a perfect location for touristy things. no real need to get a cab if its not walking distance there is a subway station 1/2 block away. good size clean rooms and hot and fresh breakfast in the morning. Only downside to the whole stay was there isn't... More

The hotel is in an excellent location. The kitchenette proved really useful for our take-out meals. It had a good-sized refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, dishes, etc. the bathroom is quite small though. Our room was pretty quiet considering it's in the center of NYC. I would stay here again.

Very good place and location. Close to Times Square and yet not noisy. Laundry coin machines are available and easy to use. Lexington Ave is also close by a 10 minute walk for those who need Indian food only. When visiting New York recommend taking the City Pass for visiting the various attractions. Staff at the Hotel are helpful and... More

The rooms were pretty decent-sized for a New York City hotel, although I wouldn't necessarily call it a "suite". We stayed on the 20th floor and views were pretty ok. The free breakfast buffet was surprisingly sufficient with hot foods like eggs, sausage, pancakes (dry), potatoes and addl items like fruit, yogurt and pastries. I didn't like that the door... More

We had a great stay at the Residence Inn, located in Times Square and close to Bryant Park. The rooms were comfortable, and included all the amenities you would expect from a Residence Inn (kitchenette, fridge, WIFI). The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast, included in the stay, was very nice for a continental breakfast and included eggs, waffles, sausage,... More

I stayed a week at the Residence Inn Times Square when in New York on business. I first booked a room for two weeks at the Garden Inn in Tribeca. I canceled the second week to try Residence Inn Times Square as they had washing machines and Garden Inn didn't. I'm so happy I moved. The hotel is close to... More

Although not a bargain by any means, the Residence Inn does offer a nice big Studio-style apartment with kitchenette and a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, sofa, chair and King-sized bed. (Plus free breakfast and free Wi-Fi.) Just a block from Bryant Park and the theatre district. Lots to do and see. Great restaurants in walking distance, and of course, Times Square. Great... More

My husband and I met our daughter in NYC for the weekend. She lives in Australia and we live in DC. We met in NYC. We had hoped for connected rooms but had adjacent rooms instead. However that was perfectly fine. Rooms were large. Both rooms were suites with kitchens. The hotel also has a great breakfast ((included with hotel... More

My husband and I decided to stay in the city after dinner and a show instead of traveling back to Queens and it was worth it. My employer has some of our larger meetings at this hotel so I figured I'd try the hotel for a stay. The staff was very friendly and the room was better than expected. Very... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
