It took us 35mins to get checked-in due to a single line and the hotel had non-working elevators, which made life interesting for people (like us) to go anywhere from the 12 floor. The rooms were tiny and we ended up having a shower problem because the cleaning people had turned the knob too tight. Took them another 30 mins... More

Do you like free internet for only $20.00 per day? How about a complimentary bottle of water for $5.00? If you said yes, then you will absolutely love this hotel. Don't forget free parking for $65.00. All this in addition to the $400 + a night. Wowzers!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in October of 2014. From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left the hotel staff was wonderful! The room we booked was a little small for my 6'2" husband so we asked for an upgrade, we left for lunch and when we got back we had a larger room... More

However room air con really noisy and very limited refreshment facilities and didn't renew and we were there for three nights. Breakfast not good, husband sent his food back because it was cod, waitress was watching the bar television and bad customer service from her when we did.... More

Just returned home from a 6 day Anniversary trip to NYC. The Renaissance 57 is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. Close to all trains, quiet street with easy can access. The rooms are extremely comfortable for the size. If you are a NYC veteran you know what I'm talking about. If your a 1st timer, well, I'll let... More

We stayed for one night. We arrived early and were informed that they did have a room ready, but if our plans allowed we should wait for another room that had a bit more space and a nicer view. We were happy to drop our bags and explore for the afternoon so said we wouldn't mind waiting for the new... More

When traveling to New York City I always stay at the Renaissance Hotel 57. It's conveniently located close to public transportation and great shopping and entertainment institutions. It's quiet and very pleasant. It has a good restaurant on-site and a welcoming lounge. The rooms are clean and well equipped for the business traveler. One thing sticks out and makes my... More

I stayed for a week in this well designed and pleasant hotel, which is located in a nice neighborhood with plenty restaurants and quit nearby 5th avenue and the bottom of central park. Very nice staff. Restaurant at the hotel has a nice atmosphere and good dishes. I can certainly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed staying this hotel. As a Marriott rewards member I always look forward to staying at these properties. The staff was very accommodating and the manager Pradley Concepcion hooked us up with a larger room even though I had reserved a smaller room. This hotel is located 2 blocks from some fabulous shopping and dining. Cant wait to return again... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
