This hotel was great! The location of this hotel was excellent for the money, the rooms were also very clean and modern. The only complaint that I have is that the room was alittle small, but who cares you come to NYC to see the city not to live in the room. The subway (6 line at 59th Street) was... more

Myself and my husband stayed for 5 nights in the Hotel 57 in early April. I booked through the hotels wbsite and got an excellent rate especially with the euro exchange rate. We arrived late on a Friday evening from Las Vegas, and having stayed in the Signature MGM while there this was to be the budget element of our... more

First impression of the room was very good, very modern bathroom. However as we soon realised the room was a touch on the small side there was enough room for two people to walk around the bed. I found the bed to be one of the most comfertable i have ever slept in. We were on the 8th floor overlooking... more

We stayed at the Hotel 57 for a family weekend in New York, and were very pleased with the location and service. Our room was small, but comfortable. We had a king-sized bed, and a balcony with a good view (balconies are on rooms the 15th floor). The room was a little loud because it faced the street, but earplugs... more

BEST experience ever! THIS HOTEL HAS IT ALL! The staff went out of their way to accomodate our every desire. From the bell man to our maid to the front desk they did it all and with a smile. We were treated like we were their ONLY quests. We are a family of 5 (3 adult children 24, 21 and 16)... more

Overall, the hotel was sufficient, but not great. On the plus side, the hotel has a nice, modern look about it. The lobby is on the second floor, which is a bit odd and possibly confusing if you didn't know ahead of time. Also, the hotel is located in a good location, about a couple of blocks from Central Park.... more

First, the good. The hotel's location couldn't be bettered. It's literally one block from the Four Seasons Hotel, and one block from Bloomingdales, in mid-town Manhattan. The other great thing about the hotel is the wonderful Palace Restaurant diner next door to the hotel (but not connected to the hotel). We had excellent breakfasts there each morning. Unfortunately, the hotel... more

Location was one of the good points as the hotel is located 5 blocks away from Central Park, close to Lexington Ave which gives access to the subway, and shopping is available close to the hotel. I did not feel that value for money was received based on my overall experience as the room was priced as they charged 4... more

I had booked this hotel based on my research online, and since I ended up paying $185/night- which is incredible for NYC. Check-in staff were super nice-even though we were early- they let us check in to our room, and they even upgraded our room because ours was not ready. We ended up in 1609, a corner room with windows... more

You must remember that this is New York, so most Hotel rooms are small, rates are very high, the tip culture is now at 15%, and breakfast is normally outsourced. So, with all of that, this Hotel sits on 57th street in the middle of Madison, Lexington & 5th Ave, you could not be any more central. Gucci, Cartier et... more
