GPH has it all - centrally located, access to the only private park in NYC, great dining, luxury amenities and most important of all, spectacular service. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, the GPH staff makes you feel at home.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in globally. I can't help but keep on coming back. From the second you stop outside the property facing the exclusive Gramercy Park, you feel the luxury pull you in. Attention to detail in every aspect: Lighting, wood and leather, luscious drapes, hip art work, oversized chandeliers, rich and warm colors... all very... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. We were getting married in the middle of our trip (not in the GPH), we wanted somewhere to use as a base that felt like a real treat on such a special occasion! My favorite place to stay. Been staying here for decades, before and after the renovation. Great spot. Pleasant staff. Good food. Stylish rooms, and spacious and elegant enough to entertain guests in the rooms.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
