It was an average hotel for the price. Nothing special. Average service, average value. Uncomfortable beds and pillows. We wouldn't stay here on our next trip to NYC. We were hoping for a larger room. The pool was overcrowded and the hot tub was dirty. We were not impressed with this establishment.

This is a typical Courtyard. Very nice. Clean. We've had good service here. We've stayed here multiple times. The only complaint I have is that they don't have a restaurant on site and no breakfast in the morning. There are several good restaurants within walking distance, including one that serves breakfast.

I needed a hotel near Mt. Sinai Hospital, and this proved to be perfect for that requirement. However, it's also easy to get to Midtown, or Downtown, as you're only a few blocks from the Lexington Avenue Subway, and there's also a good number of taxis available driving up First Avenue, less than 1/2 block away. While there's no restaurant,... More

Stayed here for one night to be near Yorkville/UES. The location was great for my purposes (short walk to friend's apt). Check-in was efficient and friendly. The room itself was clean, bright and had everything you need and then some: fridge, small coffee machine, microwave, safe, iron. Bath was modern and clean. WiFi free with Elite/Gold Marriott, think there's a... More

This is a great jumping off point for a NY stay. Close to the airport and good neighborhood spots for dining and services. Great local restaurants and close to La Guardia. I can always get a cab for transport wherever I need to go.

Very comfy beds. Good water pressure. Easy to get around. Clean beds. Bathroom floor needs the grout to be bleached. Nice housekeeping staff. No restaurant on propeprty but plenty nearby. Would prefer Coke products in the Market..

Let me begin by saying that the people working at this Courtyard are excellent. My problems all relate to the quality of the rooms. Everything seems old. The Heat / AC unit did not blow enough air to cool the room.. and it was not warm outside! The furniture seemed like it was from the 1990's... It is still functional,... More

This is my favorite hotel for business trips to the Hospital for Special Surgery and Cornell Medical School--both are a 10-minute direct bus trip via the M31, which stops on the same block as this hotel. The value for the price is good. Rooms are modestly sized (standard for NYC) but recently renovated, comfortable, and well designed with plentiful outlets... More

We love staying here. The staff is fantastic, the bus system is very convenient. There is a work out room and a very large indoor swimming pool. The new lobby is very comfortable, aside from several seating areas there are two computers for the guests use (no fees) and a printer. Another plus is the washers and dryers in the... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
