Quite frankly this is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. Its not a party hostel, but thats fine by me. This is a budget hotel, rather than a hostel, but a good budget hotel, with a much better vibe that hotels. Prices in NYC are generally a bit scary, but this was good value for money, and... More

The experience I had definitely showed the spirit of the people of New York, specifically "Don Lou" (Mr. Lou). We lost our connection on Washington because I was sent to the migration office (worst experience ever) and arrived to JFK 7 hours after the scheduled time, something like 00:30. Of course we lost the shuttle to Manhattan and after suffering... More

I originally stayed here with a friend in July 2012 and at the time very much enjoyed my experience so I decided to book again. Perhaps it was because I was travelling solo this time that I was more "aware" of the hostel and facilities. On arrival I was greeted by a very friendly man on the reception desk. He... More

OK-first off for those new to NYC: this is a budget hotel, it is not the Plaza, keep things in perspective (prices are appalling in NYC, not the same as back home). Huge kudos to the front desk staff for letting me check in early after an awful red eye flight. Easy to get here from LGA by Q70 bus/+subway... More

Best surprises sometimes comes with misdeeds. We made wrong reservations, and to avoid huge prices we chose to go for a hostel. A big surprise, a marvelous breakfast , clean toilets and showers, with the bonus of having shampoos and conditioners left behind by users, if you so wish. Attentive personel, impecables rooms, WI-Fi and a free computer room. Fruit... More

Not luxurious, but fine for a group of friends. Everything is clean and in order. The staff is polite and helpful, especially that guy with golden beard!! Location is ideal; the subway station is less than a 5 minutes walk away. However, it is a bit expensive. they charged us 75 dollars per bed per night. Another minus point is... More

The Hostel was very good and the staff was very friendly, too. From the Hostel it is very easy to get to every Importanz Place in the City. The Rooms and facilities were clean. The breakfast was delicious and very substantial. However we got a room with no window and the air conditioning was very loud.

I had a very good experience in this hostel. The breakfast was amazing, and I felt really comfortable in my room. It had everything I needed, and to be honest, there is no big trouble about the bathroom, we could all share it with no problem. The price is good, and the location is excelent. It is very close to... More

I spent a week here and loved every moment. It's close to everything and I didn't mind buying food and coming back to cook it. So what if there's one bathroom on each floor. Everyone was nice. Staff and travelers as well. Didn't even mind that there was no elevator. Internet access and laundry facilities on site. My room was... More

This hostel has goods and bad. Would I stay again? It depends on prices of places nearby if they were similar then I would stay there. Pros: Decent room for a hostel (although still small) and clean. Location is great. Free Breakfast Included Printing available for free Price is great for NYC Cons: Staff are very unhelpful Wifi is terrible... More
