We stayed at the hampton inn after staying at other hamptons in new england last year. The service was excellent as expected especially the friendly bell boy who nothing was too much trouble. The location is ideal and a 10-15 min walk too times square., with maceys and other well known shops around the corner. The rooms were smaller than... more

Just spent 8 days in this hotel, great hotel, great location, with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were modern, clean and the only thing they are missing is somewhere to store your cases in the room . The breakfast in the morning was lovely, great choice and the all day Coffee / Tea serivce was great, for when you popped... more

I usually don't spend time giving reviews, either good or bad but I'm more than happy to make an exception this time. Yes, the hotel is on the small side but makes it up with great great staff that pays attention to detail..be it the front desk lady (the one that was on duty Saturday morning of 6/20/09) being so... more

We stayed here July 4th weekend. We got there early and the staff also held our luggage for us. We drove into the city after attending a family wedding on Long Island and was able to park across the streeet the entire weekend for free. We traveled with our 18 year old son and the room was more than comfortable.... more

This Hampton Inn is a find for its funky neighborhood location, plus all the usual Hampton Inn amenities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you arrive with dirty laundry as we did, look for Empire Laundry between Madison and 5th on E 30th. Coin machines or Mom will do it for you for a reasonable price. In addition to... more

Our family of four just spent an enjoyable week at the Hampton Inn in NY. Location was great, 100M to Penn Station, which connects to all major lines. Walking distance to Times Square, Empire State Building, Macy's, and some great restraunts near by. Try Little Korea just around the corner for some authentic Korean food. The stand out for htis... more

My mother and I chose this hotel for our little monthly weekend getaway from our home in the Bronx. Let me start with the good things first: -Friendly staff--On the day we checked in, my mother had a tumble outside the hotel and one of the staff members (along with a few other people--NYCers are not as mean as you'd... more

Rooms are really small, with some luggage you can not even walk in the room. In our first room we felt a bad smell then they changed our room. Prefer to stay at lower floors you might wait for the elevator a lot. Breakfast is good, wireless free internet is available. The hotel is very close to Madison square Garden... more

The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and competent (Lisa and John were the two we had contact with, and I am sure that the rest of the staff is just as good), and the location is excellent. Subway stations are no more than three blocks away. In addition to the cleanliness of the rooms, they were adequate in... more
