Close to subway, excellent range of shops & restaurants on doorstep in up and coming area. Staffed by real people - interesting and interested. So, rooms weren't huge, but clean with great showers - EXACTLY the right balance, thanks x

Good Morning, I found your comment of real people very intriguing. First of all let me thank you for all your kind words. The reason I say I found your comment intriguing, is cause I agree with the “real” part. It drives me crazy when I stay at a hotel, and I feel the service is fake and forced. We... More

When space is extremely scarce and expensive in New York, this is the best place to stay if you're with your special someone or family. Close to the Subway and Chinatown. Very very safe (much like most of Manhattan). You will never never run out of food options, since there's a great cafe at the bottom of the street, and... More

This is a cute hotel close to Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown. Various subway lines are available within walking distance and tons of restaurants as well. Our room was small but I have gotten used to that in Manhattan after a few trips there. I think two people in one room is the max unless you're part of a really... More

This hotel was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the double shower head was great. For those who do not like carpet, the room (at least, my 4th floor room) did not have carpeting. The room had contemporary furnishings, and, although not large, I did not feel cramped as there was ample room for a desk. There were... More

So I make sure I take care of my front desk staff. I will share your review with them. Thank you so much, and... More

I need a reasonably priced hotel in Manhattan for business. My usual hotels in mid-town were booked, so I tried the Solita Soho Hotel down in the Soho district. Score! It was exactly what I needed. The rooms are well-appointed, with great beds, a modern bathroom (not always a given in old New York - regardless of price), and the... More

As other reviewers have stated, the location is amazing! Little Italy is steps away. China town is right there. Short walk to the blue line subway to go uptown. Because this is a boutique hotel instead of a chain hotel, the service was supreme! The staff made our stay so special because they are so helpful. I rate the hotel... More

Great location in the SOHO district close to everything, even a big police station, & @ a great price. Our 1st trip to NYC so it was very convenient to be close to eateries & subway stations as well as the Brooklyn & Manhattan Bridges. Rooms are clean & beds are comfortable. Love it & will most definitely stay there... More

My girlfriends and I always stay here for our annual NYC trip! We love it! The staff is awesome. Polite, easy to talk to and funny. The location is unbeatable! Steps from little Italy. Only a couple of blocks to Chinatown. And when you can't decide what to do, the staff gives you recommendations! We love it! Cannot wait to... More

Hotel was very clean, staff was helpful and location is great. Yes, the room was small but all we used it for was sleep and shower - can't beat it! The shower had double shower heads which was awesome and the beds are super comfortable too. I definitely recommend the Solita Soho :)

Good morning, First off let me thank you for writing such a nice review about the hotel. Cleanliness and great customer service are our top priorities here. Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
