We stayed at Hyatt Times Square in March 2015 celebrating our Honeymoon. We chose the hotel based on the location, seemingly modern design and rooftop bar - and we were not disappointed. All the staff are a true asset to the place, always so friendly, happy to help - nothing is too much trouble. A special mention to Ryan, the... More

During my recent stay, I was locked out of my room for 30 minutes when the electronic door mechanism failed. This was after a full day of meetings and immediately before an important company dinner. What was most appalling was that despite repeated phone calls from a staff member, it took a full 25 minutes (from the time the reception... More

Stayed for 4 nights last week and the hotel was great. Quick check in ( did have to come down and collect my bags but they were very busy ). Front desk staff were great and very helpful, organised a helicopter ride on our last day for us @ Port 6 south street heliport which was superb! Some great complementary... More

Like any hotel in Times Square you will have a great location and nice view. This does come at a cost though, the rooms are very expensive and all the amenities cost you another fee. If money is not option, this is your place!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Location was awesome. Nice and clean like it should be. Bed was very comfortable. Checkin was great. I asked if a high floor was possible. Was told it was not possible as most guests have checked in earlier. I arrived at 7pm so this must be considered late. Though I was given $50 credit to... More

I came in for an interview where the company had paid for the room. I was told I would have to pay for the room and that they had called the company and it had said this. The company later told me no one from the hotel called. Absolutely unprofessional staff.

So the good things - location is great, just off Times Square and with our 'view' room you did get a high floor (34th) and a view of Times Square and am sure this gets even higher and better as you go up the room categories. The room itself was very nice - large for New York, modern and large... More

We stayed at the Hyatt Times Square for a long weekend. We were checked in by Nico, who was professional and very personable. He is an asset to the corporation. We were also impressed with the door men, who greeted us every time we left and arrived back with "have a good day!" and a smile. The location is great.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
