I am on business trip and stayed in this hotel for over 2 weeks. It was a fortunate co-incidence booking this hotel for 2 days through expedia for 2 days as a random pick. I loved it so much that extended it for 2 weeks!!! The hotel is in downtown Manhattan (Chinatown) and has a subway (F) a block away,... More

I am staying here one night (tonight) actually. The hotel is very nice and very clean. The rooms are typical NYC size. Complimentary water in the rooms. This is the closest hotel to the Supreme Court, the Federal Courthouse, the Court of Appeals, and NYC Criminal + Family Courts. So if your trip to NY involves going to Court in... More

It was our family' first visit to New York.We booked here because they had the best price as compared to ones closer to Times Square.Check in and check out was efficient and quick.Room was very clean, newly renovated, with fridge, microwave and all amenities. Beds were very comfortable.Rooms were little smaller but then its NY. Breakfast was perfect for us... More

OK, so in the interests of clarity I should point out that this room was booked for 5 nights at a bargain rate from Feb 7th to Feb 12 and I do think that the price you pay has an effect on any view. Tackling the negatives first, most reviews mention a smell. Well the hotel is located in ChinaTown... More

This hotel is conveniently located in the midst of Chinatown. Plenty within walking distance. Check in was quick and smooth. Rooms nice and clean, small as expected for NY.Bathrooms were a nice size with spacious showers. The hotel is located right above/next to a Chinese fish market and yes we did notice the smell. Mainly just in the upstairs hall... More

New property, everything is very clean and great value! I will stay here again. I travel all over the country and stay in both Marriott and Hilton properties. Very close to the subway. The neighborhood is very interesting but it is quite safe.

Hotel was clean & staff very friendly & helpful. I had read reviews about the smell around reception, we did not experience it over our 4 day stay. Breakfast was substantial & kids had mid morning snack from it also. Subway & bus stops within a block & amazing play park with water sprinklers only 2 blocks away. Great value... More

well priced and well located in Chinatown. the rooms are a little cramped, but clean and serene which makes them a nice place to retreat to after a long day trekking through Manhattan and Chinatown. Some hallways smell like fish, but it is in Chinatown.

Stayed for 2 nights 3 days with 4 people. We visited from DC and took one of the Chinatown to Chinatown buses. The hotel was only couple blocks down from the drop off point so it was very convenient to book here. It also is close to East Broadway Subway Stop on the 'F' line which can take you up... More

I had a great stay at this hotel in Jan 2015. The place was clean, quiet, in a great location, and affordable. More detail: - Right in Chinatown - fun and awesome. I asked for a room on the side away from the subway and they said that, since I had a queen double room, all those rooms were on... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
