Great value for a brief overnight stay in the shopping district in NYC. Booked last minute and needed to be near Herald Square. Comfortable room, nice staff (especially Andre at check-in), Wi-Fi and breakfast included in rate. Only problems were loud elevator on 17th floor and low water pressure and only luke warm water in the am. I would recommend... More

VERY small room. Good size bathroom. When you're in NYC I don't know why you would want to spend time in your hotel room, so space was a non issue. CLEAN, great breakfast and excellent location. The only downside of our stay was the construction next door. All the little extras(breakfast, microwave and fridge, drink coupons, happy hour, friendly and... More

Nice location to times square 7 minute walk depending on the direction you are heading, near shopping and food. Well lit location for those concerned about walking and safety. 5 minute walk to conference center I needed to get to every morning. Free breakfast and complimentary WIFI nice bonuses. Rooms are a bit small but that's typical in NYC.

After a nightmare of an experience checking in and out of another Best Western hotel we decided to give the hotel chain another try and go to a different property. They were so accommodating and not only did they match the rate we were paying at the prior hotel but they gave us a wonderful room! They were so understanding... More

Our stay at the Best Western Premiere Herald Square was excellent. Very clean and comfortable rooms, personable staff, central location in mid-town Manhattan, all made for a wonderful weeklong stay. Walking from here was easy and just a block away from all major subways. The hotel was very accommodating to our early arrival and later departure. Zuleika at the front... More

Typical BW. Clean, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. The room was a bit larger than the usual NY hotel room and was immaculately clean. We were on the 17th floor and the Empire State building was just outside our window. The hotel was ideally located for our theatre going trips. Herald Square subway was just around the corner and there were... More

Traveled from Ireland in March 2015 for St Patrick's Day. We couldn't have picked a better hotel for this! First of all getting to the hotel: From JFK it's about 1.5 hours and $7 on the Subway. Take the E Subway the whole way into Manhatten and then switch onto at a D or F at 7th Ave to 34th... More

My now fiancée (he proposed to me at the Statue of Liberty's crown) and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights for our first trip to NY and we loved it. The hotel location was perfect and the staff were absolutely amazing. Salman, Andre, and Zuleika were very helpful. As we were leaving the hotel to see the... More

This hotel is in a great location. It's only a few streets away from the Empire State Building and a 10-15 minute walk from Times Square. The subway station is near by and so easy to use. Macy's is only one street away with other shops near by on 34th street. On the outside of the hotel there are a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
