Loved everything. Great friendly staff, very clean, completely secure, great location. Really cool! Value for money. Great ambiance too. Located midtown, times square is 15 minutes walking. I absolutely would stay here again whenever.

Stayed in New York on my own and wanted to meet people in a hostel. Staff are incredibly friendly, rooms tidy, free coffee and donuts for breakfast. A bit expensive for a hostel but it was great and location SUPERB next door to the Empire State building.

I have to say that the location of this place is brilliant, however I found the front desk staff to be abrupt and not very welcoming. Value for money, I guess i expected better of the rooms given how much the private rooms cost. I would recommend people stay here however I would advise not to expect much

came to new York during December. this place has a prime location although we did walk many blocks due to having no clue how to use the subway. the rooms were clean, a bit stuffy. we stayed on the top floor, walking up and down the stairs multiple times a day was tiring but who doesn't love extra cardio. there... This was my first time staying at a hostel and first time traveling alone (5 days in January 2015). I stayed in a mixed 4 bed room. You definitely get more than what you paid for by staying here. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, there are lockers to store your luggage(s) or items and a little fridge to... More

I stayed for one night before moving into a friends apartment for my holiday, the staff were very accommodating helping me with recommendations of places to buy warm clothes, adapters and hair salons as I was very unprepared for my NYC trip. They have fun nights such as karaoke and pub crawls! I stayed in a female 4 bed room,... More

Fantastic location with great staff. The communal washrooms are kept constantly clean and the whole place was toasty warm when it was -16 outside. One thing that could be improved on is the noise level after midnight from some guests. this needs to addressed by the night porter and some signs put up to request consideration for other guests.

What can you say to recommend a hostel for other travelers, that is clean, organized, safe? well, it is all of that but with an excellent service!! plus the incredible location (you have supermarkets, mini stores and whatever you can need like around 2 blocks). My stay in this hostel was superb, not just because everything was in place, but... More

Value for money is good, considering you are in walking distance of Time Square, Grand Central, 5th Ave. etc. The restrooms (shower and toilet) were surprisingly clean. The private room we were in was tiny, but cleaned everyday and heeey all you need is a (bunk)bed (that was kinda unstable) anyways. The air was super dry and hot and the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
