I was pleasantly surprised of this jewel In New York City. I came across the hotel recently when I needed a stay following a function. It was clean, innovative, comfortable and sexy....All rolled into one. I did have breakfast there (room service was only available)and the staff was friendly and accomodating. I cannot wait to stay there again. It is... More

My fiance' and I spent two nights at the Jade with our family members celebrating our recent engagement. The hotel front desk staff was extremely kind, and in particular, Briant went above and beyond his duty to make our stay memorable. He made sure a bottle of champaign and strawberries were brought out for us to celebrate, and then requested... More

Aesthetics considerations seem to have dominated when this new hotel was designed. It is very attractive and has a nice atmosphere. Good and pleasant restaurant and bar. Room was nice, clean, cozy but, rather, small. We could do without some of the extra articles placed in the room, which would leave some space to move around and place our clothes.... More

I stayed a few days before its official opening and got a big pre-opening discount (cost me less than $200 per night for a standard room), so I won't comment on the numerous teething problems that should disappear soon. The Jade's two big pluses are its location and decor. There are very few hotels near Union Square, but I think... More

This is a very charming boutique hotel that is a nice escape from bustling mid-town high-rise hotels. Our room was small, but clean and well-appointed. The restaurant is inviting with its fireplace and wood floors, and the food and cocktails we had were excellent. The Jade is in a perfect location if you want to be near The Village, but... More

We chose this hotel to try something new in the city. We usually stay in a chain with a good reputation. When our taxi driver dropped us off, he wasn't sure where the hotel was. We walked by it twice, pulling luggage behind us. There is no sign on the door or building. There is a hotel restaurant menu board... More

Friendly staff welcomed us to this nice small hotel between 5th and 6th Avenue. Ideally located in the middle of manhattan. I asked for a quiet room when I booked and got one which is quite something in NYC. The hotel is fairly new and nice. A bit quirky but I suppose you get that when you check their website.... More

We have been going to NYC for 15 years and this was the best hotel experience! The staff are amazing making you feel special..so helpful and nice. Great old NY feel but with all new beautiful amenities. Cool like the Gramercy Park Hotel but without any stuffiness. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The... More

Chances are if you had your children after 1995, they have never seen a rotary dialed phone. Well if you would like an opportunity to instruct them on the good old days (when you dreaded calling that friend with lots of 0's or 9's in their number!!) this is the place to stay! It's sparkling new, beautifully decorated in retro... More

This hotel is to be congratulated on its decor, staff, comfort, cleanliness and location. What a gem! It's on W13th and easy walking to a host of attractions. It is small - a real boutique feel - but beautifully put together and opposite the original Macy's building. I highly recommend it, particularly if you prefer small and elegant rather than... More
