This hotel is situated near the subway and plenty of restuarants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel were pretty small but we didn't expect much space in the city. The continental breakfast was a nice touch, in the morning, and worth the money. The views were also very nice. The hotel was a little journey from... More

The hotel is extremely small there were no amenities.. The room was clean, had a king sized bed,. table, a place to hang your clothes. The staff was friendly and with the continental breakfast for NYC it was well worth the price.

Situated in a busy area right on the edge of Chinatown. We felt safe at any time day or night visiting restaurants around the area. The closest subway stop is East Broadway on the F line. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms are quite compact but more than adequate for a decent night's rest after a day's... More

Couple visiting from UK, first visit to NYC. Stayed here in November for 4 nights. Room-was lovely, modern, clean, big TV with lots of channels, nice bathroom, what more could you ask for. Slept well on all nights- the modern windows insulated any road noise. Staff-Receptionists and cleaners were always helpful and polite Location- close to a subway which was... More

Located in SOHO, next to Chinatown and Little Italy and a few minutes walk to the Financial District. The hotel is small but has comfortable rooms and a reasonable breakfast. It is a lodging alternative in NY outside the busy center and close to great Italian restaurants.

First time to NYC and read the reviews of this hotel in the Lower East Side Soho/Chinatown which overall seemed very good. My room was on the top floor 1001, which faced out from the front with fantastic views from the bathroom full length window towards Manhattan & Brooklyn bridges on the right and midtown to the north on the... Clean room, friendly front desk, comfortable bed. Serves the purpose for a quick stay. Only complaint was breakfast was skimpy (hard boiled eggs and sausage).

While I find the hotel's use of "Soho" a little misleading as it really is closer to Chinatown and the lower east side than SoHo, it's still very well located. The property is only 3 years old, and there is still a new hotel feel to it. Room sizes are modest, but more than adequate; facilities are clean; staff very... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
