Small bedroom, but very clean and comfortable. Concierge and front desk extremelly kind and always helpful Amazing location, walking distance to most of NY locations and close to the Grand Central Station. Great mexican restaurant - always full of beautiful and interesting people - and the best rooftop bar, with a great view of the NY skyline, the Empíre State... More

Pod 39 hotel is a trendy, decently priced hotel for NYC. We arrived on a Friday night, and was a bit overwhelmed with the hipster 20-somethings filling the lobby. Turns out that they were all there for either Salvation Taco or heading upstairs to the rooftop bar. We got a queen pod for the 2 of us. It is definitely... More

This hotel is very well located, the staff is friendly and the room and bathroom were very clean. The room was REALLY small (but I already knew that prior to booking), we couldn't fit more than 2 large suitcases inside the room, not suited for claustrophobic people!

Tiny room concept, economical option for staying in Manhattan. Convenient central location. Industrial vibe, lots of young tourists from overseas. A bit noisy and already somewhat shabby but clean. Tiny single bed, somewhat crampe but fairly efficient with underbed storage, miniature desk & chair. Good sized bathroom in the room & big overhead shower, but no bedside table, that is... More

We stayed last weekend in the bunk pod. I really enjoyed it! It was small but seriously who goes to NYC to hang out in their room?? It reminded me of living in a dorm room with our own bathroom. It was super clean and I liked that it has an in-room safe. Luckily I had a great travel partner... More

Check in was super easy.. staff was helpful.... restaurant was FULL. We had a bunk pod room (myself and my hubby), It was small, yet comfortable. Anyone staying in this room MUST be very comfortable with their roommate for the trip. The glass door to the bathroom is frosted in the middle portion... but you can still tell what they... More

So I loved this hotel, I had a queen pod. Yes it was small, but if you're a normal sized human, should be no problem. Awesome comfy bed, great shower, nice cool ac, great blinds on the window that allow you to completely black out the room if you want. I also visited the restaurant and the rooftop bar. Both... Short recovery break in New York from a long flight. - Easy to get to via the Subway, from JFK (E, then 4 5 6 at Lex/53) - Central - Safe - Clean - Economical - Own bathroom and space is a huge plus The check in desk was extremely helpful, organising my check in and out, both at odd... More

This hotel changed the way I felt about traveling and staying at hotels. The minimalist approach really does give you everything you need without the fluff. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the outlets for device charging were convenient and the exposed rack to hang clothes instead of a dresser or closet was a much more efficient use of space. The... Hello AmiDotan, New York City can be a very expensive city to travel to, especially if you are traveling on a bit of a budget. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us, and you got to see first hand what our Pod brand is about. Granted our rooms are a bit intimate, our rooms are layout... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
