If you have a few extra dollars to splurge and don't like "stuffy" Soho House is a great stay. We had the pleasure of having one of the larger rooms, and I adored the steam shower and the large egg shaped bath at the foot of the bed. Ceiling Curtains can section off the lounging space as well so you... More

We had the luck to return to Soho House this Easter and we once again had a most enjoyable stay, we even had the exact same room as per our last visit in 2009. The hotel has had some alterations to the restaurant and bar area on the 6th floor which have only enhanced the facilities of the hotel. The... More

There is just something about the Soho Houses... Their style and vibe does work... The hotel room in New York was huge (especially for NYC standards), but not my favourite. It lacked some old bits and pieces, i.e. the 'vintage balance' that -in my opinion- is key to the 'Soho-style' together with a modern and simplistic touch. Also, you can't... More

It's super stylish and the restaurant on the 6th floor, the library, the pool and restaurant upstairs, the Cowshed spa and little gym -- all of that makes it well worth the money in my mind, plus you are right in the heart of a great area. If you want a real New York experience that is like a club... More

Exclusivity has its privileges... not really. The Mac & Cheese was luke warm and tasteless, the burger dull. We ordered flatbreads and empanadas as app's... they came from costco's frozen food section... The alcohol is expensive... people pay to be a member ? The service was attentive and competent, the atmosphere was pseudo NYC hip with only a few people... More

We came here on a thursday evening and it was buzzing. The decor has been updated since our previous visit and it has nice cozy booths. The ambiance and lighting are really good. The menu is quite standard American brasserie style. Its done well, we had a beef tartare, a pasta bolognese, a quinoa salad, and lobster rolls. All good... More

The Soho House is a members only club that also has rooms available a reasonable rate. The location is downtown in the meat packing district, don't let the name Soho fool you. Great location near a lot of shops and clubs. We stayed over the weekend of January 13-15th 2012 for two nights. The front desk and butler service personnel... More
