A friend took my wife and I for lunch here recently and it was our first visit to Soho House. It has a lovely setup and ambience and the food and service was lovely too. We had the buffet lunch and there was plenty of good choices.

We came here to meet a colleague and ended up having a working dinner. Food was really good. Service was a little 'laid back' to be kind but the food was worth it. Has the edge on London for me as it's a little 'cooler'!

Relaxed atmosphere, divine decor..but this is the Soho House so it is expected and it does deliver! The feeling of being spoilt comes to mind..great location..great huge rooms..no stone left unturned ..great launching pad for a night on the town..With the added bonus of a fabulous Sunday brunch..for that pesky hangover.. Roof top fun..worth every cent!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Soho House NewYork in The Club Room in 2014 and stayed again for our anniversary in 2015. It's a very cool hotel in a very cool part of New York City. Staff are great, can't do enough for you and the rooms are simply stunning!! Hope to be back in 2016!!

Soho was terrific. The staff friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. I had a small but well designed room with top amenities like the best hairdryer ever! And coffee and afternoon treats. Next to the Whitney. My that neighborhood has changed!

The Hotel, the staff, the location are all amazing! Our room ( which was a medium one ) was huge. We loved everything about it. From the huge comfy bed, to the well stocked corner mini bar with crystal glasses,China teacups,Nespresso machine & homemade cookies. The separate bath could either be open to the bedroom or screened. The toilet &... More

I had a fantastic stay here a few months ago, staff where friendly and attentive! Amazing brunch on Sunday! I will be taking all my family here before! Impressed by Sophie behind the bar, what a beautiful gem! Very impressed with her and her team behind the bar.

Not the normal choice for a family, as kids aren't allowed in the dining room after 9pm or in the pool area on the roof after 5pm, but we went out a lot so it didn't bother us. We all stayed in one enormous room. Couldn't fault it. Everything very comfortable, with a bar and wardrobe full of everything you... More

Being a member of Soho House Group I'd been desperate to try their New York hub. A girly w.end finally delivered that opportunity & where better to base ourselves than Soho House. It certainly lives up to it's reputation, this is an amazing hotel in an amazing location, perfect to discover the less touristy side of NYC. The rooms are... More

You get what you pay for with Soho House so though it may cost a little more it is certainly worth it. The location, staff, food are all excellent! After speaking briefly with the concierge about places I wanted to visit I had a route all drawn out and recommendations of the best places to visit and in which order... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
