I don't know why people downvote this place so much. Yes It is not the Waldorf Astoria, but hey, when rooms in Manhattan in crappy hotels are in the hundreds of dollars we got a double room for like $25, very old, not ultra clean and whatever, but it wasn't so bad at all, it even had a fridge &... Sorry, but this was the worst place we´ve EVER been. The carpet was zoo dirty, it was sticking on my shoes. the window was broken. Our bathroom on the floor was out of order. Staff was bored or uninterested. Good thing: it is near the central park. but thats it. You get what you pay for! I would not send... More

This was the most disgusting hostel I have ever stayed at, not to mention the staff was very unhelpful. The bathrooms were not fit for showerig (yea, it's that sick). An there's only 2 in each floor! So you're lucky id you even get to the bathroom. The location was close to Central Park, but I would rather hae gone... More

I stayed at the Sky Hostel/Columbus Studios a couple of years ago and it doesn't look like much has changed there since my stay. I was on an extremely tight budget so accommodation options were limited, hence why i booked here. On arrival we were greeted by a rude guy on reception having an argument over the phone, which ended... More

The Hostel is in a VERY wonderful location: close to Central Park, the musuem of Natural History and the tube. the hostel is cheap, but i cant say its clean and comfortable. Our room was really small, so the bed and the windows. However is a good place for an holiday in New York. If u visit NY,i won't spend... More

Excelent location. Reasonable prices. Basic. I definetly would stay there again. If you are looking for cost/benefit is a good place to go.

Terrible! Bedbugs, cracked door, cold, awful staff and more. Stayed here for a week during New Year's... It was terrible! Don't stay here. They have changed their name from Columbus Hotel or something, but that does not seem to have helped... Even though the location is good, it does not make up for the other aspects mentioned above.

I stayed here quite a while ago, but the reviews look like nothing has changed. I got locked in my room. The door was "child proof" so you couldn't open it from the inside. There were bars on the windows, no phone and no phone number for reception. It was extremely hot and the little fan would spark, so I... More

This is the worst hostel I have ever seen and I highly recommend NOT to go there. I initially booked a room in the Broadway Hotel and Hostel for my boyfriend and me as we were planning to go to a concert on a friday evening. When we arrived at the Broadway Hotel and Hostel we learnt that some rooms... More

I reserved this hotel on this web ten days ahead of times, but when I arrived, the staff of reception told me that all room are full, then called someone to reseal me to another hotel 96th street. That day was raining, so it was a very unpleasant move. The staff was very rude and without any faith. I hate... More
