Booked a private room, arrived and told that there was only dorms avaliable even thought we had paid in advance, and that no refund would be given. Columbus hostel has a big problem with overbooking. The staff is very unhelpful when it happens and won't provide a solution for you. In our case we were back on the streets of manhattan at 3 am because Columbus messed up...
