Wyndham recently opened this resort, and it is still undergoing renovations. We were in a 1-BR deluxe renovated unit which was not comfortable. It faced another part of the building, so there was NO view, which is important to us. The bathroom was tiny and not functional for 2 people. Tub/shower was difficult to safely use because of poor room... More

I found this hotel in kind of a roundabout way. I come to the City a lot for business (I live Upstate), and once I needed to be in the east 40's, near Grand Central, and found this hotel online. I booked a regular room, but got upgraded to a suite. Holy moley! It was a true two-bedroom *two-bathroom* suite... More

My aunt has been a super-duper VIP member of Wyndham Vacation Resorts for many years, so we've stayed at Wyndham resorts in Atlantic City, the Poconos, Alexandria, National Harbor, Williamsburg, and elsewhere in recent years. One of our longstanding critiques of the organization has been their absence from major metropolitan areas, where younger travelers like to visit instead of the... More

Dear Clo110 Thank you for your very detailed stellar review. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service to all of our guests. However, it seems that we still have some work to do. Our apologies that you were not informed that the refrigerator in your room does make ice for our guest convenience and was missing an ice scooper.... More

The staff are very friendly and location is easy, taxi drivers all know it. It's undergoing renovation so there's no breakfast, although John's Diner is round the corner and excellent. The rooms are worn, there are facilities, but there was no bottled water or glasses in my room (which was annoying to find out late at night!). There are other... More

Not knowing what to expect at all we were very surprised and happy with our room. The location was great. Our renovated room was nice and clean and comfortable. The kitchen was a great plus although we weren't there long enough to use it. Now that we've been there and know it was so nice with a kitchen... we would... More

Stood here four nights and loved the location. The place is in total reno from facility to staff. I would recommend a stay starting in Fall 2016 if you really want to have an above average stay. Still a young hotel, not a luxurious stay. Loved the Diamond Distrcit though. My room was getting renovated the day I was checking... More

We stayed here over New Year's and had the most wonderful time. We found both the renovated and non-renovated room just perfect, despite other reviews. The rooms were spacious for New York and although the non-renovated room had older decor it was still clean and well appointed. I would have given a 5 star rating for the first visit, however... Thank you for taking time to make us abreast of your recent stay. We have made note of your feedback, and will be looking into why your second stay was not as five star as your first. This is definitely not Wyndham standards. We will also be sharing you compliments with Perry, Fabio, Carlos and the Wyndham Midtown 45 Team.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
