Fantastic view of Central Park. The room was large, separate bedroom from the living room. A little pricy though....$2900.00 for one night. Can't beat the location and the views! I would never spend this kind of money again though.

Stayed one night due to availability and loved every minute. This is a grand resort and the service was effortlessly perfect. Jason at the reception desk was so kind, attentive, and professional in welcoming us for our short stay. The upgraded view from our suite was a perfect view of central park. The room was fantastic in every way and... More

My parents visit me in New York at least once a year, but since this year was of particular importance (my mom is turning 60 and my dad turning 70), I wanted to book them something special for their visit this time and thought that the Mandarin Oriental would give them the pampering they deserved. I booked a standard Cityview... More

This was a beautiful hotel. Awesome location and convenient to transportation and activities. Beautiful views of Central Park and the city. We loved the restaurant and the spa as well. And everybody was very helpful, friendly and kind--not stuffy at all. For us, the expense makes it a special occasion location rather than one we could visit regularly, but I... More

I have stayed at the Mandarin in New York a number of times now and have also stayed in some of the other 5 star properties in New York too. For me, the Mandarin beats them all. The service is really outstanding - friendly, personable and always professional. This time I really noticed the consistency of service from every member... More

There are few places that beat the position of this hotels the views. The service is exceptional. It is the only hotel I know on manhattan with a swimming pool with a decent length. The rooms are not suited for a long stay. Some attention could be paid to maintenance paint work etc. Breakfast is a great in the restaurant... More

We visited New York in January, the weather was freezing the Hotel was incredible. The attention to detail was excellent right from the start the pick up from the hotel was seemless the lady that greated us was very freindly and polite, our driver was friendly, knowledgable and happy to point out things for us. When we arrived we were... More

From the second you are greeted at street level, take the elevator up to the lobby, stare dumbfounded out of your window at Central Park, you are treated with care and respect. The staff anticipates every need. I want to take the bed, the linen, the towels and the view home, but alas, my suitcase is too small. I will... More

I stay here at least 2x/year, even though I'm a New Yorker. Our local luxury "staycation"! Ideal location, especially if attending the theatre or anything at Lincoln Center. And the views cannot be beaten, from the rooms (try to get a Central Park view), and from the iconic lounge on the reception floor (a perfect place to invite friends for... More
