Very pleasant and accommodating staff; exceptionally clean facilities. Nice variety of food for breakfast. Brief walk to Canal Street and the museum, as well as a short walk to Chinatown. Pet friendly hotel where the staff welcomed our two Chihuahuas.

We chose this hotel as we thought it was close to where the Marathon runners were to be picked up and taken to the race start. This hotel is close to nothing. We had to walk blocks to the subway. On the weekend it takes a very long time to hail a taxi. If you are wanting to stay close... More

Dear LetsGoNowOK, I'm sorry that you found that our hotel was not well-suited to your location needs. While our hotel is not very close to where NYC Marathon runners can take shuttles to Staten Island, we are walking distance to several downtown attractions, including The South Street Seaport, The Brooklyn Bridge, Battery Park, Wall Street, The 9/11 Museum, Chinatown and... Stayed here for work, while the building behind is under construction the Hampton Inn Seaport did it's best. Great location for the non-Time Square folks. Great restaurants within blocks. The Seaport Area businesses are back!

The hotel is clean, small but nice room. The staff is very helpful, early arrival had no problem with leaving the luggage. Everything is working fine, it's in a good location, the view from the room is mainly blocked, breakfast can be richer but resasonable

This hotel was your typical Hampton Inn, which always works for me. I paid $318 for one night, which is not awful in NYC. It is located right next to the Brooklyn Bridge, but unfortunately we did not have time to visit it. The staff was friendly and even tried to help us and a few others catch a cab.... More

Stayed here Fri-Sun. Generally a very good stay. The area is quiet for NYC, but felt safe, right next to South St Seaport where there are bars, restaurants, stuff happening in the little square all the time. 5-10 minute walk to Wall St, 9/11 memorial, and subways to head uptown. Parking is in a valet garage right across the street... More

This hotel is in a great location and more quiet and low key compared to uptown. It is walking distance to The Freedom Tower,Little Italy and South Street Seaport areas. Good restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Being a family of four with a large dog is difficult when you're shopping for a hotel room in NYC. The rooms are either too small, the area is either to busy, or the fees are outrageous (pet fees, cot fees, internet fees). We prefer staying in the downtown area because it's less touristy and there are plenty of restaurants,... More

Convenient location for touring Manhattan. It is close to the subway and the water taxi. Taxicabs easily available. The Hotel was very clean and everything was well maintained. Hotel is in good location right by Brooklyn bridge, about 2.5 blocks from subway. I like Hampton / Hilton group in general. I was not welcomed as HH member, disappointing and above I was lied in the face.
