Usually when hotels show great photos on a website, but you get there and it doesnt look any where near as nice....... Well, not this Hampton...It was so beautiful and looked just like it did in the photos. The Front desk staff (carlos Mostly and Jonathan is who i spoke with) were amazing....so friendly and Helpful! Hotel is close to the Brooklyn Bridge and the Seaport in lower east area of Manhattan. I stayed for a long weekend in March 2008. Hotel is small, modern, well presented and very clean. great location for all of lower manhattan: chinatown, wall street, lower east side, seaport. Efficient check-in, parking across the street, clean room, large bathroom. We booked this hotel after checking the reviews on trip advisor and really did not regret it. Conveniently located, around the block from the Seaport and 5 minutes from the Fulton Street subway it also is within walking distance from Ground Zero, Battery Park and Wall street.
