Terrible location, in the Chinatown. Not a very safe area. Expedia had it listed as in SoHo (they have since corrected). The bedroom was small, smelly, had a TV that was at least 20 yrs old. The water in the shower was intermediate at best with no pressure. Towels were not provided in the room. We had to go down... more

For $250/night, I expected much better. What was described as a room that would comfortably house three adults was tiny (perhaps 10 by 12) with a twin and a bed described as a full that was actually a twin with six more inches of width meant to hold two adults. The mattresses were rock-hard and stained with what looked like... more

Very very bad. Small room, rooms dont open the windows and in rooms are very hot and dirty. The workers do not solve the problems and are bad-mannered. If you have the room of below (down), you listening to the whole world in the street and inside the hotel and not sleeping for the noise. more

hotel room was small, which I expected, but was immaculately clean, and linens and furnishings were in very good shape. Other positives: half the price of midtown hotels, friendly staff, lively neighborhood with lots of dining options (in Chinatown, but easy walking distance to Lower East Side shops and trendy NoLiTa boutiques.) Bonus points for being a half-block from Grand... more

The electricity in the room is whack as well as the water pressure in the shower. You can't use the electric outlets because the lights will start dimming. The water in the bathroom has a mind of its own and comes out when it wants. Bed is shady. People showed up at our room saying the front desk gave them... more

Very small room as well as the bed (I'm not sure that it is a real queen size bed). There were 4 people in our group so I try to pay extra (10 dollars per night) to upgrade my room to a biggest one. And I pay more (20 Dollars per night)for one single extra bed. They gave me a... more

I love this place!! Excellent non-tourist location. Train across the street!! It does stink outside from all the street vendors, but you're in New York it stinks on Park Ave!?!?! Friendly staff, clean room, overall comfortable stay. Puts you right in the lower east side. No, it's not a 4 star but it has a comfortable bed, clean rooms, and... more

Stayed at the Windsor Hotel with my 15 year old son for 3 nights and can honestly say that in all my travels this was the most awful place I have ever stayed. The area is rundown and there were guys on the street hanging out and drinking beer. It is not the place for a woman to stayalone with... more
