I had requested an early check in and tried to check in at 1:30. We were told our room on the 52nd floor would be ready by 3:00, or we could have a room on the lower level. We waited around until 3:00, endured a long line for check in as they only had one staff at the counter, and... more

This was just another business trip and the hotel met my expectations for another metrolpolitan hilton. The incredible experience was looking down over a snow covered ground zero. All construction activity had stopped because of the weather and it was both sobering and impressive. more

Brought grandchildren to see July 4th Fireworks on the Hudson - we could have seen them from our gorgeous room! $180 - 5 star - in NYC - are you kidding!!! It was spectacular. Gramma and Grampa are heroes! more

I have stayed here a dozen times in the last two years, most recently on July 9. The hotel sits next to the old World Trade Center site and was completely renovated after 9/11. The hotel is sleek, modern and comfortable. The standard rooms are small, but very comfortable. The room decor is also modern and minimalist in a good... more

We typically stay in Midtown or Times Square. Excellent River/City views make this location worth the subway ride if you have that down. Close to the Ellis Island/Statue of Libery cruises. While it's true that the Financial District "closes" down at night we were close to Tribeca, etc. and I LOVED the non-tourist vibe of the area. Nearby St. Paul's... more

My husband and I stayed for two nights over the 4th of July weekend. Being Gold HHonors members, we have used points to stay in most of the Hilton properties in NYC. We chose this hotel with the hopes of being able to see the fireworks from our room. We weren't disappointed. Using our points and reserving on line, I... more

I won't go on and on. Excellent hotel, very professional staff, larger rooms for NYC, very clean and well-kept. Housekeeping met my request (extra teas each day). Even earned free breakfast at the restaurant -- an over-priced continental breakfast (who would pay $23 for a selection of bread, fruit, and cereal??). The honeydew melon tasted off at the restaurant (I... more

I thought this was a decent property in that it is quite new and the rooms were pretty good for a Hilton. However I was disappointed that there was no concierge lounge and I was not offered any breakfast or drink vouchers as is customary for Diamond VIP benefits. Also the WFC neighborhood pretty much shuts down after dark with... more

For $135 on Priceline, we had an outstanding stay over a Saturday night. No noise, either internal or external, in our 18th floor room (perhaps because there is no construction on Saturday night or Sunday morning), one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've had in years, and a clean and functional bathroom added up to a perfect stay for... more

Great hotel, good location, well appointed rooms BUT, service is a problem. When we arrived at 4:00 PM there were dirty dishes from breakfast on the floor outside our door (and were still there at 7:00 PM when we went out for dinner). Then at 10:00 PM I realized that I had forgotten a prescription medicine and called the front... more
