We honestly loved this hotel. We had a room on the 30th floor with a spectacular view of the river and Ground Zero. While we expected noise, it was more than we bargained for. Luckily, we had earplugs. In spite of the into-the-evening construction noise, we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. You can't beat the location for the historic... more

Nice hotel for business-related trips to the Financial District and surrounding areas. Everything was very clean, the check-in staff were friendly, and the location is great with a subway entrance just across the street and plenty of Tribeca restaurants within easy walking distance. (Check out Blaue Gans for something different.) Room rates were high, but it's Manhattan. Make sure they... more

I've stayed at this hotel more times than I can remember and am a Hilton Diamond VIP. So why on my last visit did they give me a low down fron facing room when the noise from the WTC site is so bad.. I just couldn't sleep as the noise was so loud at 10:00pm at night. I complained and... more

we stayed there on a stopover - good location close to the subway. although construction was going on at ground zero we didnt notice any noise in our room (high floor), but we were made aware by the hotel that we should note this (ahead of booking). the breakfast was very good and the room was clean and modern. nice... more

I had an excellent stay in the Hilton Millenium. I was staying on the 39th floor, overlooking the Hudson river and WTC ground zero. The rooms are large in size for NYC and very comfortable. Large bathroom with all necessary amenities. Room: very large flat screen tv; minibar (automatically charging), coffee maker with lavazza coffee, very comfortable bed, internet (ask... more

We had a great stay at this hotel. Very high level floor overlooking WTC. Friday they were jackhammering something, which was very annoying and noisy. They stopped about 6pm and never again heard construction for the remainder of our stay. Well appointed rooms. Decent bathroom. Not a lot of things to do at night, so we went to our regular... more

We found the Mil Hilton to be a great value. Almost half the price for a comparable room in mid town. The rooms were very clean, the staff was super helpful and the location was super close to all of the subways. As expected, the construction at Ground Zero was a distraction [but fascinating to watch]. The views from the... more

My wife and I had a one night stay at the Millennium, and quite frankly, it is hard to see why anyone would choose this hotel as an option unless they want a view of the WTC construction. In the less than twenty-four hour period we were at the hotel, Hilton managed to: 1) Take 45 minutes to check us... more

I recognize New York is noisy, and while you're up high in the Hilton Millenium, construction at ground zero can be pretty loud, even on a weekend. The rooms are very clean and for business travellers to downtown, the location couldn't be better. It's a bit overpriced, but which hotel in New York is not. more

The Millenium Hilton is a very high tower hotel directly across from the WTC/Ground Zero site. The rooms are nice and clean, and the views of the Hudson River / NJ are just incredible. HOWEVER - buyer beware... the construction at Ground Zero started at around 5am and went on at incredibly loud volume - even on Saturday! I got... more
