I stayed at the Bowery on a last minute trip to NYC with friends on a budget. For 4 nights it was around $150 per person which is an amazing price for a good location Manhattan. However, there are a few factors that might deter travellers from staying here. Firstly, the rooms don't have a ceiling. So you can hear... More

On my first day at the Bowery's my luggage, which I checked in with the concierge, disappeared. Two weeks of agony and anxious moments followed, but the staff acted as if they could not be bothered about what I was going through. There is no doubt that the Bowery is in a terrific location but the city of New York... More

Pay attention in the details of or reservation or they will charge you a different price. The place is really simple, but the location is great. The room feels like a cage but is clean. If your priority is save money is a good option. But if it is comfort, keep away.

This was my first place to book using the much-touted, overrated booking.com. It was a great price for the five nights that I was going to be there and it was on the border of SoHo, within walking distance of the Brooklyn Bridge and Chinatown. I had booked one kind of room based on availability, but when I arrived, they... More

Hi, Let me be blunt. This facility should not exists. There should be some sort of minimum standard that hostels should adhere to. This facility lacks electricity in room, no elevator, dirty and run down, the rooms aren't rooms but boxes without ceilings with no space for luggage. I would rather not go on.... Disgusted European Travel.

A hotel from the 20’, clean, cheap, with an excellent location close to the Subway. At the counter Mary and Farah helps you a lot with all your inquiries. Nice and friendly people. Free WiFi, refrigerator, microwave. 50’ LCD TV. I recommend it specially if you don't want to spend a lot of many just for sleeping!! Not for picky... More

The little cubicle rooms are tiny - with thin partitions separating each "room". Ask for a double and its exactly the same, except with the partition to your neighbour removed. Each of the "rooms" has an open roof. You can peek into next doors room if you are tall enough and stood on your bed. It means that everyone is... More
