Was being renovated when we visited the staff apologised, not a problem but could mean it's totally different to my experience but can only imagine it's been improved. All we wanted was somewhere to throw our bags and lay our head down while we spent most of our days sightseeing in this amazing city! The room was very small but... More

Wanna stay in a place close to the action? This is your place! Great for short trips to New York, but not for more than a few days. Accommodations was bare minimum and included no luxury items. We were given a top sheet, blanket and bath towel! But we were less than a block from Times Square and around the... More

The staff in the hotel were fantastic. Really helpful and very friendly. The location is about as perfect as you can get. However, although everything in the room worked, it could never be described as home-away-from-home or comfortable. It felt a little bit like a jail cell in a minimum security prison. We stayed one night and it did the... More

Nice hotel in good location. 3 min from Times Square . Room small, 3 beds, wardrobe, safe, small bathroom, air conditioning, brekfast included. Bunk bed could be a problem for someone with disability ,other thing is that you can feel all movements that the person above/below makes))).No view from a window. The staff very nice and helpful. Subway just next to the... More

This is a not luxurious but fair hotel. It's clean. Personal is very nice. It's very well placed in Manhattan. Not good breakfast and not views at all. Price I've paid is around 110$ per night, so no too expensive as it's 100m away from Times Square.

First of all, I need to say that this hotel have a perfect location, right in Times Square, but in a little street so you don't have to suffer from the noise. The subway station is in front of the hotel's entrance, really convenient. The staff is pretty nice and welcoming, they're helpful, nothing bad to say about them. Now,... More

We had 2.5 days to do as much of New York as possible on a budget and this hotel was the cheapest central accommodation we could find. The standard is hostel despite the name, but in view of the location you get your money's worth. Very basic free breakfast but if all you want to do is grab a coffee... More

So this is the first place I have ever stayed at in NYC. Before arriving my roommate warned me it was a little scary, but it was in a great (convenient) location. She mentioned it was small, but even the nicer hotels like The Roosevelt and Gotham were too. This one was just cheaper. With this in mind, Here's the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
