Hotel location is great. Easy walk to everthing. Checking in was told only room available was a handicapped room. Stating I wasn't handicapped and reminding clerk I had made my reservations in March I wanted the room I had booked. Reluctantly, she gave it to me. Stated it was an upgrade. I don't think so. Room was great - very... more

As a Starwood platinum member for several years, I have come to appreciate the Westin brand in many cities and vacation spots. This hotel is clean and the initial impression is comensurate with that of other Westin's. The service, however, was terrible. Prior to check in, I was assured on the phone that my room would be upgraded. After waiting... more

The location of the Westin is nice... If you need to be right next to the subway! Otherwise, everything that we did was 7 blocks away on Broadway, the shows, the activities, the resturaunts. I was irritated that when we wanted to extend our stay, because I was almost a week late because I was stuck in Iraq due to... more

We stayed at the Westin from Friday, July 3 through Thursday, July 9, located at 43rd and 8th Avenue. I received the room for free as I used my Starwood points. I could not get an upgraded room as the place was sold out but the front desk clerk said, that he "would have given me the next available upgrade"... more

This place goes over and above to make you feel welcome. I had stayed there once before and wanted a room overlooking the Hudson. We went for our anniversary. Not only did we get a room overlooking the river, but the night we arrived there was a dessert for two and an anniversary card delivered to our room---no charge. :)... more

We just got back from a stay here and I was disappointed. The lobby was wonderful and the service was great. The room was spacious, yet the bed was lumpy and a bit hard. The view was alright, for it overlooked a street that was pretty, but it was blocked a little by the tops of some buildings. The location... more

I stayed at the Westin for one night while I was on a business trip in NYC. There was no line when I checked-in, so the check-in process was very quick. My room, with a King sized bed, was nice, but not overly large. There was a little room to walk around the bed, but that's about it. There was... more

Checked out of this hotel, Room 3909, at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Monday, July 6th. While checking out, reported bed bug bites to hotel personnel named Cesar at the front desk. He took my phone number and said someone would call me to discuss. That didn't happen. I just hope the hotel has taken appropriate measures so that the next... more
