Stayed 2 nights pre-cruise. Hotel is in a fantastic location! We arrived from LGA via SuperShuttle so got to see a bit of the city on the drive in, including the naked cowboy! Stayed in the Westin in October 09 for 7 nights. Room on the 31st floor facing the hudson. It was quieter than I'd expected at night. Hotel room was cleaned daily, service was good. Desk staff were very helpful. This hotel is ideally suited for Times Square and the whole city is easily accessed from the subway round the corner.... more

Stayed here on a family break with a couple of teenagers in October 2009. This hotel is in the perfect location! It is not facing Times Square, but walk up the street (same block) and you are in the heart of it all! We were able to walk everywhere; Central Park, Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, 5th Avenue, the Hudson Bay Piers, Theaters...it was perfect. We stayed here for 4 nights, with young children. Times Square is a 2 minute stroll along the street. Beds are very comfy. The bath was rather shallow but that could be a US thing. Breakfast downstairs is really good. more

It was my third time in NY and the last I stay around Times Square! I stayed once at the Ceowne Plaza Times Square, but this time at the Westin it was much worse! The hotel location is in a ugly part of Times Square (near 8th av. at the ugly west part of NY), noisy, dirty and horrible people... more
