We stayed at The Hotel At Times Square from 3/25-3/28. We came to see the sights and celebrate our daughter's birthday. The hotel was excellent! The check in took about 5 minutes and the hotel staff was very nice. One of the hotel workers named Ramsford (I think!) was extremely helpful and personable. Our hotel room was on the 12th... More

I recently stayed here with my mother and ten other women for a fabulous girls weekend! The Hotel at Times Square was perfect for our needs. It's not fancy but it's been recently renovated and it's clean. The rooms are a bit small but that is no surprise for a NYC hotel. There is no fridge or microwave in the... More

Stayed at the Hotel @ Times Square this weekend (March 19-22, 2010). The hotel has been completely remodeled last year. Here's what I liked: Newly re-modeled clean rooms, large plasma TV, clean new bathroom, free local calls anywhere in the USA, free wi-fi in rooms. The lobby is a nice place to meet friends and has two free internet computers... More

This hotel was very well located. The room and the bathroom were a little small but the price and the location made up for it. The breakfast was OK. However about 3 doors down (away from time square) is a great little resturant. The food was excellent and the price was inexpensive...not something that you can always say in New... More

Hard to believe...only about 5 blocks from Times Square for LESS than $125/night (included AAA discount)!! This is a great little hotel with fine service, convenient location, clean rooms, and more than adequate amenities for the price! A continental breakfast (fruit, bagels, juice, coffee, donuts, cereal--- all of the regulars) is included--served until 10 am, and a small workout room... More

We had the BEST visit to New York. This Hotel is in an incredible location for its price. We paid roughly $135 a night and were two blocks from rockefeller center and around two blocks from all the hub bub of times square and the theatre district. I searched and searched and couldn't find anything mildly comparable to this anywhere... More

I have never had an experience so horrible that I have had to write a review! Upon arriving they lost my reservation and after showing the confirmation email they still did not believe me. After they made a call they "found" my reservation. Since we were early we asked to hold our bags but they said that the room would... More

We picked this hotel based on it's price and the previous guests' reviews. It's always a risk picking a hotel in such a big city but this one proved to be a good bet. Despite being called The Hotel @ Times Square it's not actually located on Times Square - this however was not a problem as it was only... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
