Stayed with family for 5 nights during our trip to New York this month. Check in was prompt and courteous with a ready room waiting for us after our long travel. We found the location great for going around in Manhattan. Wi Fi was working through out and breakfast was great. There is a travel desk at hotel which came... More

A few friends and I went to this hotel in February for a school trip and it was a pretty good place. The bathroom was clean, it has a good gym and a nice breakfast buffet. We called room service to help us with our lock 3 times and each time they said they'd send someone up they didn't, but... More

Unfortunately no hotel in NYC can give you free parking so that was a bummer, but not the fault of the hotel. It was perfectly located in midtown so that we were close to all of the things we wanted to see. We walked everywhere! And it was nice to have our room close by if we needed a rest.... More

I recently stayed in this hotel while in New York City with a group. The room was a nice size but we immediately found small black bugs in the bathroom. When notifying the front desk two gentlemen came up to inspect and said they were flies. When I told them they were not flies he tried to pass them off... More

Our room was booked through a third party site and this lead to some confusion. Though our booking said two queen beds, there were no rooms w/ two beds available so we shared a king bed (2 friends). Because we did not read the fine print, we did not notice that it stated that tax was not included. I believe... More

This hotel provides a good value for midtown manhattan. It's just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center and Times Square, close to a Metro station, a few blocks from Bryant Square Park and the Theatre District. The check in was quick and easy, the hotel staff was helpful and kind. We had a room on the 11th floor, while the... More

We stayed at this hotel for one week in June 2011. I took a group of students to NYC so we booked a total of 8 rooms. I really liked the location of the hotel, it was close to Times Square and the Theatre District. I think the rooms were decent sized and the room I stayed in was clean.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
