We stayed at this hotel during the spring break period after Easter. There was construction next door and the staff offered to move our room to a quieter area of the hotel. We liked our second floor room and decided to stay hoping that the construction would be quiet over the weekend and it was. Our room was not large... More

This was my 4th stay at The Hotel at Times Square and I'm glad to recommend it. If you're looking for a room with a view or lots of space, stay at the Plaza. New York is an expensive city and real estate is no different. This hotel is squeezed in between other buildings, therefore the windows have no view.... More

Stayed in room 206. It was clean and roomy, the largest on the second floor. A full, nice friendly bar was on the same floor and we were able to take the spiral staircase or the elevator right to our room - very convenient. The room and hotel looks recently upgraded and was very attractive. Large free continental breakfast area,... More

This is a great hotel close by everything. Excellent rooms, nice and clean. Great breakfast. Only problem this time is the construction next door. A bit noisy during the night. Other than the construction this is a great place to stay with parking right across the road. They even give you a discount on the parking.

Was very impressed. Considering the location and the price, the room was huge. Never had a room this big in NYC before. Very clean and well kept. Was expecting maybe some cold cereal and milk as breakfast, but it includes a bunch of fruits, bagels, donuts, toast, croisants etc. in a very clean downstairs that almost looks like a little... Excellent hotel in a fabulous location. We stayed in a two bed suite - plenty of space, nice TVs, good bathroom etc. Free coffee/tea and ice machine in lobby was a nice bonus. Breakfast was continental and very good (toast, bagels, eggs, yogurt, jams, cheese, cereals, juices etc...) Staff were very courteous and helpful. There is a desk in the... More

This is my second and positively last stay here at this hotel. They cancelled my reservation and then changed the rate on me at check in, and then told me the manager would fix it on Monday. I got absolutely no where with the manger, reservations, or corporate. There are 100's of hotels so spend your $$$ somewhere else because... More

Dear steve m, Thank you for your review. We are sorry about what happened. It seems that you booked a room with an invalid credit card with was declined. No new credit card information was given. We try to reach guests by phone and/or email when this happens, but if we cannot reach the guest, the reservation is canceled. When... More

This is my second visit to The Hotel At Times Square. The location is close to all the theaters, subway stops and tourist sites. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful and there is a continental breakfast included which is adequate if not bountiful. I would recommend this to anyone as it is relatively inexpensive and conveniently... More

This was our second stay at this hotel and it did not dissapoint! The rooms are very large by New York City standards and we were amazed at how clean the entire hotel was. The marble floors gleamed and we couldn't even find dirt in the corners. Very impressed! We were on the 14th floor. Not a great view into... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
