Booked this hotel for 5 nights, just managed to get through the first night and check out. The staff are ridiculously rude and arrogant. We found out we were treated this way because we South African Indian. Bathroom was colder than the temp outside, asked the lady at the front desk if they had bathroom heaters as I needed to... Dear Avani P, We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you faced during your stay. We can assure you that our staff is in no way racist toward any group of people. We also apologize for the lack of hot water during your stay. This was out of our control but we worked hard to get it fixed. As far as... More

Nothing fancy but gets the basics right: clean, reasonably sized room, good mattress, efficient booking and checkout. Excellent location near Times Square (and to my wife's delight next to a Dress Barn). There were some issues: because of its size and shape, the room is configured with the TV on a side wall, not watchable lying in bed against the... More

I am very adamant about confirming my reservations which I had called and spoke to the hotel twice, once on Tuesday and then Friday the day before my reservations for one night this past Saturday evening. Tuesday, everything was wonderful and the front desk even stated I could leave my bags if I arrived early or check in early if... More

Dear Diana M, Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Our rates vary throughout the year and sometimes even day to day as the availability for rooms fluctuate.. This is common in all hotels in New York City and other places too. However, since you made your reservations in advance, we cannot honor the new rate.... More

its true there was an electrical problem affecting hot water for 2 days-but no one at front desk was secretive-it is to be expected in a city like new York-i made do and their team was on it big time-and in terms of everything else offered-location,cleanliness,comfort,breakfast room-this is my favourite dependable group to use in Manhattan.I could be out all... We stayed here for Thanksgiving week and were so happy that we could walk just outside to the corner to watch the Macy's parade! Kid friend hotel with a nice lobby for sitting and snacking. Good free breakfast in the morning. Short walk to Rockefeller and Time Square. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location! Very short walk from times square, Rockefeller center and 5th Avenue. Rooms are not so big, but for a city break you are expecting much more than this. Breakfast is quite nice. And hotel staff is always friendly and ready to help. This is definitely a wise choice for a trip to explore NYC.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
