I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in february/2014. It offers everything you would expect of a budget hotel: room was a bit dated, but very clean and spacious; clean bathroom, comfortable bed, free wi-fi, cable tv and it also includes complimentary breakfast (which is pretty basic, but worth it - it's free, after all). Staff wasn't very... More

My husband, myself and two teenage daughters stayed at your hotel at the end of a 2 week trip to the North East part of the US and Eastern Canada. The hotel was amazingly quiet considering we were only about a block or so off of Times Square. It is a small hotel and a bit older but we had... More

The room was clean and comfortable. A continental breakfast was served which were waffles or pancakes, bagels with cream cheese, toast with jam, cereal, bananas and apples, yoghurt, coffee, tea and juice. It was a perfect start for the day. It was always crowded so in order to get a table I suggest going for breakfast by 8.00am. The Hotel... More

The Hotel at Times Square (actually in Rockefeller Center) is a cozy & comfortable hotel for a reasonable price. For on the lower than average price of a NYC hotel- the rooms are surprisingly huge - even the bathroom. The location is great - around the corner from a subway station as well as near anything else you can need... More

Our room at the hotel was of a very good standard with a phone and radio/iPod player. The double bed was comfortable and there was a coffee percolator with coffee and tea provided on a daily basis. The room had air con, a three drawer cabinet and there was a cupboard off the room which served as a wardrobe. In... More

Enjoyed that the hotel was in a great location....very easy walk to time square. It was in the 90's in NYC during our stay, but the air conditioning in the room made it a great place to be able to cool off. Nice to have a breakfast included. Wi-fi in room was not so great, but was able to access... More

We stayed here pre and post cruise. 1st night the smoke detector went off at 4am - not great after a long flight. I phoned reception to see if someone could come. 30 minutes later a very short security guard came with a small set of ladders, I had to help him take down the offending alarm, didn't get back... Dear Jose U, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry the concierge was less than friendly. They are operated by a third party, but that is not an excuse. We will continue to remind them to be friendly and helpful to all our guests. We hope to welcome you again soon. Liz from Apple Core Hotels More

Great hotel location, ok breakfast choices, helpful staff. The wi-fi worked for maybe 5 minutes of my stay from July 12-17, that's the only reason it received a 4/5 for me. The wi-fi didn't work for anyone in our group for more than 5 min. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a decent hotel to visit while... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
