Very good location in New York. Very average but cheap enough, the room was clean and sheets were nice. There was a problem with our key card to get into the room and we're met by a very rude maintenance man - which pissed me off massively. The breakfast was ok. The travel agent told us it was 4 star... More

We had a great stay at the hotel. It was an easy walk to both Times Square and Rockefeller Center. We traveled with 3 children. The room fit us nicely. It had a great closet to store our luggage. The breakfast was just okay but it was great to start our day easily with their breakfast then head out sightseeing.... More

Booked this hotel through Thomas Cook and it rated as a four stat through them, finding out it's official rating was three star I was slightly weary. I have to say, I can see why its rated as four tar by TC, the place was fantastic!! It is definitely higher standard than your usual three star. The decor is tasteful... More

We stopped for 5 nights. Our 4th floor room's window looked into a dark court yard (12 floor high), which proved advantageous as we didn't hear the nightly road works in nearby Times Square. The hotel isn't plush but is clean and has plenty of inclusive services. The roof bar was great with its heated outside seating area and happy... More

This was my second trip to New York and our first time at the Hotel Times Square. It was close to the center of Times Square. And the rooms were amply sized. It served a continental breakfast. My only complaint was we had no daylight from a window which was between two buildings and the bathroom door was frosted glass that... More

Faultless hotel. Approximately 2 minute walk to Times Square which was ideal for us. Service was great and transfer from Newark Airport was about 50 minutes. We were out from morning till dark. Breakfast at this hotel for a little tiresome towards to the end but it was always fresh. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in... More

I had been looking for a more central location to stay on this visit to New York. The travel agent found this hotel with free breakfast included at a good price. The hotel is located two blocks from Times Square so was perfect location wise. It's a budget hotel so you can't really expect too much from it. The room... More

I have to say initially that after reading reviews before our stay here I was quite worried about what we had booked - NO NEED ! Please do not listen to the moaning ridiculous comments on here about tiny teeny rubbish to do with this hotel. My husband and I have just returned from 6 nights here and this hotel... More

I did a 3 night stay. This is a great little hotel and includes a continental breakfast. Each room has a coffee maker. My room had a queen size bed and the room itself was of good size (a bonus for NYC!). The bathroom is also of size. Housekeeping keep everything in my room fresh with towels, coffee, trash picked... Stayed here for 2 nights in March, the bedroom we had was terrible, carpets were ripped and the sheets had not been pressed. The inclusive breakfast was a free for all with paper plates and plastic cutlery. This hotel gives a very bad impression of accomadion in New York. Although a good location you would be better staying in a... More

Dear Elaine S, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry you did not have a great experience and that your room was not up-to-date. We are currently in the process of renovating all the rooms which includes new carpets. Unfortunately, we do not have proper space to wash reusable plates and cutlery for our breakfast service. We apologize for the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
