Clean and comfortable with helpful, friendly staff. Very noisy from traffic at night but that's New York for you and the price you pay for staying in such a central location. A great breakfast on the house every morning and coffee from the machine in the foyer whenever you need it. Transport, including the Hop on Hop off tourist buses... More

So we fell into this hotel cause every other hotel was booked at the hour we decided to stay in NYC - 4 am. Got a nice room to start, then had to move cause we realized it was a non smoking room. They put us in a horrible room with a broken window with masking tape on it. Total... More

Stayed Spring Break 2013... Hotel was just two blocks from Times Square, room was clean and decent size. Price includes breakfast, internet and long distance phone calls. This is all usually extra from most NYC hotels. Loved the $1 pizza place a few doors down.

I've stayed here a few times now, on my own, as well as with my family in a "suite". The location is great. The rooms are clean. The overall facilities (room size, breakfast, WiFi, gym, etc) are very good for a hotel in this price range. Contrary to some of the other comments here, I have found most staff members... More

My wife, daughter (toddler), and I stayed here recently namely because of the location. It's walking distance from Times Square and a host of shops and restaurants. The rates were also more reasonable than others in the area, but that's where the positives end for me. Our room was actually spacious, with plenty of room to park our huge stroller,... More

I stayed here for one night with my 20 year old daughter. The location of the hotel is great if you are going to see a Broadway Show. I walked from Penn Station but there seemed to be Subway stops quite close to the hotel. Our room was very small and although it had a 'window' in the bathroom and... More

I was going to give this hotel 4/5 stars but our experience deteriorated during our stay due to numerous false fire alarms, inconsiderate maintenance staff and the attitude of the concierge.. The plus points are: 1) Location: near 6th Avenue and only 5/10 minutes walk from all major attractions such as Broadway theatres, Central Park, Empire State building and 5th... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
