Great little chilled roof top bar within close vicinity of times sq. What a great find- didn't find anywhere else like it! Just nice to chill in an outdoor beer or cocktail with some music but quiet atmosphere which is brilliant after a busy day exploring. Just walk straight in past reception and jump in the elevator on the left... More

The hotel staff was not the friendliest, but it is New York. They accomdated every question or concern I had, so can't complain. The hotel is very compact with small evaluators that barely fit the cleaning staffs carts in. I would stay here again as the price of the hotel, you can't beat. If you want something fancier, then you're... More

We stayed one night in this hotel. The location is really great. you can easily reach times square in around 7-10 minutes. When we arrived, our room was not ready. we decided to explore a little bit the area and come back later. After one hour and a half, the staff told us that the room is not clean even... More

Dear Anthonynassar96, Thank you for choosing us for your lodging needs. We sincerely apologize for the staff. We will continue to work with them to improve their customer service skills. We’re sorry your room was not ready at first or when you returned. Generally, the rooms should be ready by the 3pm check-in time, but sometimes if the hotel is... More

The room was clean and much larger than I expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed here years ago and the hotel came a long way. I will book again my family loved New York, and staying in a nice clean friendly hotel made our trip fantastist

At 3 AM, a man called my room and wanted to come up. I (a female) hung up on him. The next thing I knew he was knocking on my door wanting to come in. I did not respond and he kept it up. Since the locks were very flimsy I put a chair under the door knob and armed... More

Dear CarolChE73, We’re very sorry that this incident took place. We did confirm with our security cameras that a man was knocking on your door. It looks like he left right before the police came. We were unaware of the this incident until we heard from the police. We can assure you that the man at your door was not... More

We chose this hotel because of it's location and reviews. The reviews were mixed so we came prepared...this is New York and it was pretty reasonably priced for it's location. Still, they managed to fail our expectations. We were greeted by two extremely unfriendly clerks at check in. Really, your front-line staff should create a good first impression! When we... More

Dear Shelly C, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry your non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Occasionally, we have guests who break the rules and smoke in non-smoking rooms. This always results in a fine, but it can be difficult to get the smell out of the room. We do change all the linens and towels between guests. We understand... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel many years ago and stumbled across it again for our May visit. We enjoyed EVERYTHING about this hotel except the view but wasn't expecting one so no harm done. It is so convenient to great pizza, subways, most everything. If you are wanting the Ritz then look elsewhere. If you've done your... More

We stayed in August 2015. Staff was very helpful, they even printed theatre tickets we bought online. Room was a bit small, but it's Nyc... Overall was pretty clean and comfortable, and the location is super great. We didn't have to take a taxi/subway - walked everywhere. We have stayed in the past in hotels that charged about the same,... More

My partner and myself have just returned from a weeks stay at The Hotel @ Times Square. The hotel is in a perfect position for mid town Manhattan - close to Times Square, the piers, Top of the Rock, Empire State etc etc. The staff were very welcoming and very keen to please ...nothing was too much for them. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
