I booked the Times for its location and overall reviews. Firstly the positives: Great location. The rooms where nice and clean, modern and always refreshed. Bed are very comfortable. Check out was swift and they arranged a taxi to the airport for us. The negatives are only small points... When we arrived from the UK after a long flight I... More

I stayed here by myself for a stay in New York from 14th feb - 19th, the hotel is nice but had problems with their electric so spent a full night with no heating or electric, this said it certainly wasn't the staffs fault who were all lovely! Patricia the housekeeper on the 8th floor was an absolute delight, funny,... More

Had a view out onto the road the hotel was situated on, very nice. Stayed here bed and breakfast, basic continental but sufficient before a day of sightseeing. Went to NYC for a week and stayed at The Hotel @ Times square, The location is perfect it is just around the corner from Times Square and there are plenty of places to eat/subway stations nearby. Inside the lobby is very modern and the staff are always there to help whenever you need assistance. The rooms had a modern... More

I stayed here two nights with my boyfriend. Great location, within walking distance to many attractions, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Grand Central, etc. Continental breakfast in the lower level is nice if you get there early enough to beat the rush. Helpful, friendly staff we asked if it was possible to change rooms because we could hear a jackhammer on... More

My daughter and I stayed here 18-22 February 2015, I have to say the hotel is in a great location for a first time visitor to New York and extremely close to all the major sight seeing attractions. We booked via thomas cook flexi trips and booked transfers to and from the hotel. To say the least they didn't turn... More

Our first trip to New York and chose this Hotel with a view to it's location. We weren't disappointed either, 4 minutes walk to Times Square and superbly located for all other Attractions. We arrived 2hrs early expecting to just store our cases while waiting, we were waiting 10 minutes when told our rooms were ready for us. Going into... More

We always come back to this hotel when we are in NYC because of its location, its price, its staff, and just about everything else. The price for rooms is very reasonable but when you add the free breakfast, free newspapers, free coffee in the lobby, and free WiFi, you can't believe the deal you got! We have never stayed... My mother and I travel to NYC every Christmastime to see the Rockettes, and we always stay here. The location is perfect - walking distance from Grand Central Station, and walking distance to Times Square, Radio City, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, and tons of shopping and restaurants. They include a continental breakfast which gets us up and out the door.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
