Me and my husband have just come back from our honeymoon and i have to say the hotel was great. The location was fantastic only 5 minute walk from times square and about 2 minutes from 5th Avenue. The staff were really nice and helpful we had to check out by 12 but because of a little issue the night... More

First of all the location can't be beat for the price. The rooms were nice, though not great; roomy enough, but not roomy. The breakfast buffet is nice and plentiful, but too crowded. Couldn't get anywhere near it. My biggest gripe about this place though is the elevator. We were on the 10th floor, and not once, in two days,... More

Dear Josh C, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry you were not more pleased with your stay. We do have some smoking rooms, so sometimes the smell can leak from the rooms even if there isn’t any smoking allowed in the common areas. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the elevators. They can get a bit held up... More

This hotel is in the perfect location. Walk out of the hotel and take a right, Times Square is right in front of you. The Rockefeller centre is just around the corner! I plan on staying here again when I return to New York. Rooms are a little small but that didn't bother me as you literally only sleep here.... More

Stayed recently for two nights. This hotel is as central as it gets. On our first visit to NYC we were given a very small room in a nearby hotel. Rooms in this hotel are a good size, have large comfortable beds and are spotlessly clean. Staff throughout are friendly and efficient. The girl at the tour desk not only... More

We arrived on the 21st and stayed for 5 days! (During the snow storms)! Arrived early, quick check in & we was allowed our room early. On arrival to room it appeared clean and tidy! Hotel is very close to Times Square/central park etc! Breakfast pretty simple, bread 3 types of cereal, doughnuts, fruit juice & hot drinks. iMacs in... More

Dear Chloe S, Thank you for your review. We hope you had a great time in New York City, despite the snow storm. Though the city sees it’s fair share of snow, we usually do not see this much snow all at once. This was close to a record-breaking storm, and we’re sorry the staff seemed a bit unhelpful. We... Really liked this despite quirky heating (we were there just before the snow storms!), a view of an opposite wall/ Windows, and very flaky wifi in room (fine in lobby and free). It was quiet, so got a good night's sleep (though I could have been lucky on this); had a good hot shower, coffee making facilities and plenty of... More

My wife and I booked a room at this facility for three nights and supplied a credit card to guarantee the reservation. We were to arrive about 11 pm that evening and so I called the hotel in the afternoon and confirmed our reservation and told them that we would be arriving close to midnight. I was thanked for my... I spent one night there & was charged $153. which is reasonably cheap for a hotel in Times Square, NYC. Plus they actually had smoking rooms, which is almost unheard of these days. Room was nice & check in was fine. However, when we got to our room, there were no ashtrays, no TV guide & the alarm clock was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
