On checking in, Monique looked after us who was super helpful and nice throughout our stay. The rooms are very spacious. Great bathrooms. All very clean and comfortable. When checking in they only had one receptionist and he did a lot of things at the same time, serving a queue of customers and answering the phone, so it took a while until I was able to get up to my room. The room itself was actually very spacious, considering it being in the middle of Manhattan. I asked... More

I liked very much my stay at the Premier Hotel NY! An authentic boutique hotel, with wonderful attention from the staff (specially Monique, at the front desk) and a very good location. I arrived early in the morning at the hotel and Monique let me check in early, which was really very kind and helpful, after a 10 hours flight... More

A less obvious choice of hotel. So much so our taxi driver hadn't even heard of it!? We booked our Christmas getaway just 72 hours prior to departure and got a great deal. We chose this hotel because of location and value for money. The hotel isn't anything special, but adequate and good size rooms for a central hotel. The... More

Dear SoulfulMinx, Thank you for sharing your experience with The Premier Hotel New York. Not ever wanting to be “Adequate” we are always seeing where we can improve. Our Evening Reception menu on the Mezzanine Level changes daily to accommodate different taste. As for the breakfast it is strictly Continental and for a heartier appetite or prefer something hot we... More

Dear MontroseMaggie, Well thank you very much for your review. Nice of you to take the time to advise of your experience and we are so glad that you did. The Premier Hotel is sleek in its appearance but reflects New York style in the way the staff reacts with urgency to requests and accommodations. And our team knows the... More

New Years Eve 2014. My Girlfriend and I bused in from Boston. Arrived in NYC around 6pm. We figured we can check in drop our bags and use our confirmation as tickets to explore times square. I was wrong. Officers denied access to times square even with confirmation on hand. We walked around the city for 9 hours before we... More

Dear Alcorazon, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you and your girlfriend experienced upon the arrival on New Years Eve. Unfortunately with the prime location we have, NYPD strictly enforces their expectations of security measures to the businesses and local areas of Times Square. They must use extreme precautions for anyone entering or exiting the area for all individuals. With... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
