We stayed here for five days at the begining of November 2014. My wife was taking part in the marathon and as the whole family was going we needed somewhere central, roomy and able to cope with a family. We were so lucky we got a one bedroom apartment on the 15th floor so we have fantastic views and we... More

We were on the 36th floor with an amazing view on Manhattan and the Chrysler Building. The apartment was modern, very clean, with full kitchen, one bedroom and two bathrooms. Location is perfect. We have only one negative point is that the mattress was too soft.

Just a word of warning to people intending to use BridgeStreet accommodation in New York. We booked a one bedroom apartment in August for a late October date through Booking.com. We chose the Centria as it was close to the Theatre district and Rockefeller Centre on W48th Street. One week before we were to arrive we received an e-mail saying... More

I was on the 27th floor, with floor to ceiling windows giving views of Manhattan including the Empire State Building. Just perfect! I expected a tiny place with minimal facilities and was stunned at the actual size of my one bedroom apartment. There were two bathrooms, a full kitchen and a sizeable lounge with a very comfy big corner sofa.... More

We (two parents and two children) had booked and paid through booking.com for a two bedroom apartment for five nights at USD 600/night. Upon arrival (after seventeen hours of travel) we are shown a one bedroom apartment with one bed. After the reception inquire with administration it appears after half an hour of waiting that the apartment we have booked... More

I was very lucky to find this place! I was there with my parents and it was perfect for 3: it's a flat-like style with a lot of stuff for long stay: microwave, laudry, fridge, vacuum etc. the bathroom - generally the big nightmare - was really cool! And on the 2nd floor I had a substantial balcony!! We could... More

I booked this 6 weeks in advance. The Friday before I arrival, I phoned with a question, and was told that I had been moved to another property due to overbooking. I phoned the other property and they had no record of my reservation forwarded to them. At that point, the 34th and Madison office staff was gone for the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
