A great choice! I booked this hotel for my mother and I and within a few hours of booking thought I should try to cancel. I read about the popular bar and thought this probably wasn't the place for us. My mom uses a walker and we rented a scooter. The hotel was SO kind and accommodating. They sourced a... More

Very good desk staff, excellent restaurant. Rooms are minimal at best, no coffee, microwave or way to store food. Location is average. Noise is a real issue--the staff warned us and it can't be fixed.

Staff was really great, conveniently located, very clean rooms, and very comfortable bed. They were making some changes while we were there but it didn't bother us. They have a really cool outside deck you can sun in or take a drink. I think they have outside seating at a bar, but not sure. I would stay in The Out... More

We stayed here for two nights as the hotel we were staying at didn't have availability on one of the nights we needed. We paid £275 per night. The room was very loud. We complained to reception who said they'd turn the fountain off outside in the courtyard but that didn't help. Think the noise was the Ac system. The... More

Extremely convenient location to Javits center. Staff extremely accommodating to meeting the needs of the guests. Very tolerant to grumpy guest who got woken up in middle of the night! I ended my stay with a massage that was amazing! Restaurant is very good and healthy offerings as well. Would definitely recommend to business travelers especially.

I checked into the "out" hotel for a 3-day business/fun weekend with high hopes for a unique, premium experience. My experience was comparable to a holiday inn express with a big boys restaurant and rude staff. Not only is the entire facility (rooms, gym, lobby) run down, the operation does nothing to make gays feel more celebrated or even welcome... More

Arrived to the out after along trip out of home to finish it with four days in NYC. The checkin process was quick, the room has a big window lets the sun and the city view to get to your room and the room size is fair. In the hotel try the ktchn restaurant. They won't get a michelin star... More

It was NYC fashion week and everything was really jam pack. the place is 10 min walk away from Time square there is perhaps police station nearby so always find Police car parked outside the hotel. you get to meet new people if you choose to stay in... Located in West MidTown it is close to the action, Very clean and trendy hotel. Full of contemporary art and beautiful outside terasse and spa. Rooms are large and modern and service was excellent. An oasis of trendy calm in MidTown. Will be back.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
