Only come here if you are staying for a few nights ONLY! - They never reply to mails. - Dirty bathrooms, even for a hostel. Also, it seems that there's only one hairdryer for the whole hostel. - Pretty close to the Fire Department, expect occasional loud noises. - Lousy and irresponsable manager. (Carlos Rosario) - Free breakfast? Grab whatever... More

We had a wonderful visit to NYC and stayed at the Highline Hotel for 2 nights. The people there were hugely helpful and very nice to my kids who felt at home in the lobby typing on antique typewriters next to hipsters as they came in for coffee. Daniel was wonderful and extremely helpful with anything we needed. The rooms... More

Ok, I never wrote a review before, because I never needed to do. The place is gross, its disgusting!!!! - The bathrooms are dirty most of time; - The rooms are never cleaned; - The staff are terrible - And last, but not least: there are mice in the place!!! They came to my room and got into my luggage!!!!!!!... More

okay. where should I start? This is my first time writing any negative reviews of anything. Usually, I am very patient and try to be understanding. Being that said, I gave this hotel one month to return my call to refund my money (which I was not supposed to pay) and they NEVER called me back. When we arrived, there were... More

This place is a dump. No signage outside and the lobby is very substandard. There is a table and a few plastic chairs. No atmosphere at all. There is a terrible shortage of showers and toilets which are very messy due to over use. While I was there a notice was put on the main door by the fire department... More

For this price and this location we didn't expect anything fancy - but this isn't even basic standard. It's really cold in there - the windows do not close and as it was a windy and rainy weekend in NYC, we felt really frozen. I was literally afraid to get up from under the duvet. The rooms are old, ugly,... More

Very cheap for the location! BUT staff was rude (no hi, just "your passports") dirty, dusty rooms, blood stained mattress, very noisy, cockroach spotted in lobby. Do understand was old place, but the cleanliness was very poor(dust, crumbles on sticky floor) and at least the girl behind the desk could be polite.
