Very friendly staff, CARLOS gets 5 stars! Spacious rooms with our own personal sink, not a bad location, 2 blocks from the subway, 1 block from the subway and close to the Chelsea Highline (although we didn't really think that was worth a visit). Free towels were available. Not a great breakfast (muffins, bagels, powdered milk for the coffee.) Wifi... More

We stayed mainly for security as we have travelled for one month around USA and we need somewhere to lock our valuables away. We stayed five nights, four of those five the lobby checked in other girls into our two bed dorm. Luckily we were in the room on a couple of ocasiondsbut on one we came back and found... More

The pictures are very deceiving. What you see is NOT what you get! This hostel was very dirty! They definitely cut corners on cleaning. There were three shared bathrooms on each floor which were usually flooded with water and covered in people's body hair! The rooms were not inviting. In our room the curtain was broken and the steps up... More

I paid a little over 100 bucks per night, which is the cheapest I could find in NYC in July. The room was clean. The shared bathroom was clean as well. Wifi works oNLY in the lobby area, so no Wifi in the room. Location is close to Chelsea Market, home to Los Tacos #1, hands down the best tacos... More

From reading all the reviews prior to going to the hostel, I was hesitant and a little nervous because of how the majority of the reviews were poor but the stay exceeded my expectations! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here because it was the least expensive place, great value, in the direct downtown manhattan core, close to all... More

Despite all the reviews our stay here went perfectly. The room was just what we expected, staff were friendly, and nothing was to dirty. There were plenty of bathrooms and the beds weren't to bad. We had a family suite for four friends and it actually had alot of space. Overall a great experience in New york. There was no... More

We were told on arrival that they did not serve beverages, had no room service and no restaurant. There is a coffee bar in the foyer though, which is good as there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Our room was freezing cold and despite repeated requests they failed to rectify this, only bringing an extra... More
