Close to Midtown. I walked to Macy's on 34th, Times Sq. Penn Station. Clyde Frasier's Wine and Dine 2 doors up the street. I ate dinner there 3 nights! Very convenient! And the Hotel was occupied. A lot of other people found this place to be a good choice.

this hotel is a real disappointment. the property is tired and the rooms are small. The Hotel is very very noisy with loud rail road horns and noises in both rooms that I saw and the one I stayed in. The soaps and towels are poor and the location between Tenth and Eleventh Avenue is to be avoided unless attending... More

Good hotel, good rate and easily accessible from the Lincoln Tunnel. This hotel is located 10 min walking from Time Square where most of the action takes place. Staff could be friendlier, but for the rest everything is good.

If you are going to the Javits center this place is a half block away, very convenient . I had a meeting at the Auto Show so I picked this place. First impression walking in the lobby was a bit on the dirty side. The lobby had an odor to it and is in dire need of a renovation/paint/new ceiling, floor... More

We booked online through a third party and because there were 2 children and 3 adults the website let us book a single room as we have been doing at other hotels yet when we went to check in they made us book an extra room which they charged $155 a night for! Won't be staying here again!

I am staying in this hotel at the moment and can't understand the comments about it being dirty. I cannot fault the cleanliness. The room and bathroom are spotless and the bed is very comfortable. Putting aside the cost for a closet size room, which is typical in NYC, the room was the most dirtiest room I've ever slept in. Bed spread looked 20 years old and dirty, carpet in the same condition. Bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been washed in days and the icing on the cake, no hot water.

Rooms are dirty, worn, furniture torn, staff is rude and uncooperative. Would you pay $200 for a room like this? We checked in and after 15 min of looking at room we decided we could not stay there. the room smelled, was worn, and the king size bed was surrounded by large furniture that did not allow access on both... it is a vey good position in New York City for Exhibition. But the price is too expensive with normal service, and normal room. That is hard to accept. But consider the position, if they can offer and improve the service, like better bed, better breakfast. I think I will come back and suggest my friends

This has all the basics, clean room (but small), hot shower and good selection at breakfast. It's a bit of a walk to Times Sq, but it's reasonable (good exercise). We walked to Rockefeller Center and back for lunch then back to the theater district for a show. The price was amazing, since it was an off week for conventions.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
