I travel to New York very regularly. Normally I stay at the New York Palace which I think is very over rated. I've now stayed at the Quin 3 times. Every stay gets better. The rooms are very comfortable; well equipped and attractively decorated. The service is good and the staff are always accommodating. The gym is great, v modern... More

Stayed here December 2014. During our stay we flew off elsewhere and left all our luggage and returned a week later. Friendly very professional and overall nice people. Mnay NY hotels have small room and this hotel which was previously known as the Buckingham, has well appointed good size rooms. Annexed to it is a restaurant called the Wayfarer. Excellent... More

The Quin is an excellent, eclectic hotel. From the moment you enter the lobby it is apparent that this hotel is unique. Do go to the website to read all about their arts and amenities. All of the staff were excellent-front desk, housekeeping, room service... The Quin Attaché (s) are most knowledgeable and helpful. The location is second to none.... More

I am a native New Yorker who received an amazing opportunity to have a staycation at the 17th floor Terrace Suite at the Quin Hotel. It is truly THE Quintessential New York hotel. Overlooking Central Park and Avenue of the Americas is one of the most mesmerizing views to have - the Quin provides that. From the staff to the... More

My husband and I were in NYC for an anniversary weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at The Quin. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodated our early arrival. The location of the hotel is perfect! Close to Times Square, Theater District and Central Park. The rooms are clean and modern. The "control center" that turns off the lights, opens... More

I have stayed in some of the very iconic hotels in New York including the Waldorf Astoria and I once even enjoyed a suite at The Plaza. But in terms of sheer comfort and extraordinary service, I was pleased to experience a hotel that surpassed those experiences. Our room was beautifully outfitted with very high quality bedding and linens, luxury... More

The Quin is a fabulous luxury hotel located seconds away from Central Park, 5th Avenue and Times Square. We spent our honeymoon here and were upgraded to a corner suite for free upon arrival! The staff were friendly, the room was divine and the views over 6th Avenue were spectacular. Ignore any bad reviews on here!

Loved the Quin - super comfortable rooms with all you need - especially loved the automated blind systems. Blockout blinds are a big plus in my book! Location was fabulous if you are after a mid town location - only a block from Central Park.

We stayed here for a week and would highly recommend the hotel. Beautiful rooms and staff incredibly helpful without being too obtrusive - they got the balance just right. Nothing was too much trouble from recommending unusual restaurants to hunting down where to buy a toboggan in snowy New York! I'm very fussy but would highly recommend this hotel.

Expensive, but worth the price. Nice reception, friendly staff with for the clientele. They don't argue, the cliënt is always right. Luxurious and nice rooms, with coffee facilities. Situated on the edge of America (6th ave) and 57th street, close to Carnegy hall.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
