The hostel is well located and have just everything you need. Only con that I can remember is not having breakfast, but they have the kitchen if you want to buy it and make it yourself. Bathrooms ok and bed's ok too. You wont find a better option for this price.

Jazz is perfectly located for exploring Manhattan - directly across the street from Central Park, close to the subway, and several restaurants, bars and attractions (the Museum of Natural History, Columbia University, etc.) are within walking distance. There didn't seem to be many hostel-organised events going on while we were there, but maybe they just didn't advertise them or directly... More

Pros: Good hostel to crash in. Rooms are clean but not very spacious. Hostel is in a good and safe neighborhood but make sure you walk in groups at night because it's very calm and quiet and streets are almost empty. The subway is 3 blocks away (Street 103). WiFi works only in the common room and does not reach... More

A nice enough place - easy to get to with a short 3 block walk from the 103rd subway station. Good sized common area which is the only place wifi works which encourages interaction (generally a good thing!).. It served as a nice place for a few drinks before a stroll to a bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. A... More
