We have enjoyed our stay here and will come back the next time we are in New York. The location is great and the room is nice. There is easy subway access and it is also easy to walk to a ton of restaurants. We didn't spend much time in our room, so the location was the most important factor... More

We stayed at TRYP hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of May (Fri, Sat & Sun). Overall, we were impressed with the hotel for the amount we paid (particularly considering the amount you could end up spending on accommodation in the centre of New York). The location of the hotel is perfect. It is minutes walk away from Times... More

I just stayed here for a business trip and it was lovely. The room was fairly good sized by NYC standards. I had a king bed and lovely, new bathroom with a nice shower. The amenities are bulk, which is a nice touch. The Kreuig coffeemaker would have been nicer if the coffee wasn't generic. However, the coffee served at... More

This is a new brand of Wyndham, for me. I vacillated from Average to Very Good. As far as interactions with the Staff, I was very disappointed. I am not sure around what they are oriented. It was not the customer and insuring the customer experience is great. My room was a strange configuration - one room with sink and... More

Good and friendly service. The hotel is placed quite near Times Square. However, there are not many good restaurants in the area, so prepare for taxi. The subway station is really close by, so at daytime travels up and down Manhattan is effortless. One thing the hotel should fix is the very noisy air conditioning. The rest of the hotel... More

Stayed in the Premium City View Queen Room with Two Queen Beds and Sofa Bed , requested a room with 2 bathrooms. The room fit 6 people perfectly. Especially 6 girls getting ready for a night in NYC. The Room had a spacious living room area with a wet bar & fridge. 2 queen beds in a back bedroom, a... More

Booked this hotel for a 3 night stay in May, turned out to be a good choice. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the young concierge whose name unfortunately escapes me. free wifi and very convenient central location near to subway, Penn station, Macys, Empire State etc. 8 blocks from Times Square but away from main bustle of the city... I stayed one night here while in town on business. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Penn Station and less than a 15 minute walk to Times Square. The hotel looks like it had recently been refurbished with contemporary decor, a nice little bar and comfortable bed in a typical NYC smallish room. The bathroom was all new... More

Service was superb, pay a little more and get a large room with a partial view of the East River. Rooms are larger than others at this price. I asked for a room near the top. Quiet. I'd love to stay there again. Very popular. Book early.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
