On arrival at The Library Hotel my travelling friends said to me "do you think they have mistaken us for celebrities?" we could not believe the warm and friendly welcome by all the staff and our room was delightful. It was only on our 2nd or 3rd day that we realised all guests were treated the same way. It seemed... More

Let me begin by saying I only visited for one evening and did not have a chance to really explore the hotel and all that it has to offer. The hotel is extremely close to Grand Central Station which was convenient for my travel plans. It is within walking distance (15-20 min) of many attractions or a fairly short cab... More

This hotel is a gem. In the busy city it provides a relaxed, calm atmosphere but at the same time being within easy reach of anywhere you would want to go. Attention to detail of the theme makes for interesting surroundings rather that floors and floors of identical rooms. Lovely breakfast selection and the evening cheese and wine is a... More

Not perfect but definetely a great hotel, very well located mid-town. You can wall to many many great places. Few minutes away from the metro station. Accessible by bus from airports. The Bryant park is incredible.... Highly recommended if you wish to visit NYC for 3 or 4 days. Comments on trip advisor are very accurate! + location; design of... More

The service was excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Could not have asked for a better location. The hotel offered a reading area, excellent continental breakfast, pastries and coffee the entire day and wine and cheese from 5:00 to 8:00. We enjoyed having a drink at the "rooftop bar".

My wife and I did not have a bad word to say about The Library Hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and it's in an amazing location right by Grand Central Station. It was easy to pop back to and refresh before going out again. The cheese and wine reception is a great idea and offers... More

I have reviewed this hotel before. It is the best hotel we know. Staying there every time we go to New York City is proof. Three times a year usually. Our trip this past Christmas was just heavenly! The staff always go out of their way, fetching cabs at all hours, feeding us an incredible breakfast, providing books everywhere and... More

This is hands down one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Location: excellent. all the little extras (wine and cheese in the evenings, themed library in each room, nice toiletries, rooftop bar, breakfast): wonderful. But what really makes this a truly epic hotel is the staff who gave us unparalleled service from before we had opened the... More

Located in midtown Manhattan, this hotel was excellent for being able to walk easily to places like Grand Central Station, Times Square, the United Nations headquarters, Bryant Park, the New York Public Library, Fifth Avenue, Broadway shows, Central Park, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, and much... Although we only stayed one night our experience was excellent. From doorman to front desk to the server at the nightly wine and cheese party. The breakfast, included with the room was quick and had a bunch of choices. We will return for a longer stay.
