I recently stayed at this hotel during a Sat-Sun. trip to NYC. I was planning on proposing to my now fiancée during the trip. I called the hotel to make some arrangements since a good portion of the trip (and the proposal) was going to be a surprise for my then girlfriend. The staff, especially Harold, Eric, and Sarah, went... More

Will definitely be staying there again. The only complaint I has was the expense of the soda in the room bar 6$ for a can of coke is a little pricey even for the city. That being said it had a beautiful clean room with a comfortable bed, climate control, extremely friendly and helpful workers. Will definitely stay here again... More

To us, The Bryant Park Hotel is the friendliest, most welcoming small hotel in New York. From the moment you pull up in your car, you are warmly greeted by everyone from the valet, to reception, to concierge. The rooms are sleek and contemporary, very, very clean, and comfortable. We had a lovely Jr. Suite that had a spectacular panoramic... More

For five years now, I've been traveling to NYC for work and have stayed at pretty much every boutique hotel in the Midtown/Bryant Park/Grand Central area. While most of those stays were convenient to my office, none were comfortable. In fact, I often would go out of my way to stay all the way downtown just to get a larger... More

This was the third time we stayed at the Bryant Park Hotel and everything was as great as the first! The entire staff is pleasant, friendly, accommodating, and catering to your every whim! We were "welcomed home" by Darren Sumner, the director of guest services with a bottle of wine in our meticulously clean room overlooking Bryant Park. We had... More

I'm a discerning traveler and former New York dweller with near weekly visits to the Big Apple for work in TV. I usually write detailed and lengthy reviews about my hotel stays with the hopes of helping fellow travelers navigate the woes and joys of NYC boutique hotels. But let me tell you, I've both had the fortunate opportunity to... More

First time at this hotel and while I came in very late and left early my room was great! Would definitely stay again! The room seems bigger than some of the other "boutique" hotels that I've stayed at in the past.

This was our second time staying at the Bryant Park for an annual birthday splurge. The hotel did not disappoint. Everyone on the staff is friendly and eager to please. I'd mentioned my birthday in the booking, and we were greeted in our room by a birthday balloon attached to a box containing two delicious cakes from Maison Kayser --... More

I returned for a theater weekend and decided to return to this sweet hotel. Well! My second visit was even better than the first, even with a smaller room (I was being frugal). A personal greeting awaited me in my room and really DID make it feel as though I were returning to my "place in New York". I also... More

The hotel is wonderfully located to take advantage of the theater district and some museums. We walked almost everywhere. Although on a lower floor, our room was spacious and comfortable. Quiet too. The bathroom was huge. The bed was very comfortable. Would stay there again.

Thank you for giving us a 5. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed the hotel and the neighborhood. I appreciate working here all the time, we are so close to Times Square yet we are not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It’s so nice to have a park across the street. I’m glad that... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
